I had a nice stay at Relax V hotel. The staff was friendly, courteous, helpful, and professional. The hotel was very clean, and it was quiet. They also had complimentary coffee each morning. The location of the hotel is excellent. It’s about a 10 minute walk from Taipei Main Station which makes it easy when you are arriving from the airport, and gives you easy, quick access to the Taipei Metro.The neighborhood around the hotel is nice with a lot of shops and eateries. I strongly recommend this hotel.

I had an overall really nice stay. The staff were helpful and friendly, especially housekeeping, who checked if I needed anything when I ran into them in the hallway a few times, even though I didn’t require a full room cleaning.
Two main concerns were the shower, which had a slight mildew smell, and the soundproofing. During my 11-day stay, there were two separate nights when I could hear other guests laughing and talking loudly or having mini parties in their rooms late past midnight.

There are only two areas need attention: 1. Aircon doesn’t seem to work accordingly. Air circulation is poor. 2. There’s no USB charging port available.

Nice but too far
If you have a car great place to stay! No car stay in Chiayi. We thought since it was closer to Alishan Forest we could get a taxi or uber up the mountain…it was a struggle! We finally got a taxi 5000 NTD round trip!

The doors are very noisy, the kitchen is very loud when they make the breakfast, Batter stay on the second floor, if you don't want to hear the guests walking very loudly , But the interior design is pretty nice . They have a nice Chines restaurant near by .
