The host was lovely and made us feel very welcome. They contacted us in advance to understand how we wanted the room to be set up as we were travelling as a family, and accommodated our need for an early morning check out. The garden and garden view are also lovely. There was some ant powder in the property when we stayed which might not be good if you're travelling with small children, but wasn't a problem for us.

Really high-spec hotel and room. All beautifully decorated and presented, including public areas. Young staff on reception were friendly, helpful and spoke good English. Our twin apartment was small but top notch and very well equipped. It was handy to be able to get extra items such as pillows, toaster and iron from reception. On first impressions the area this side of the station where the hotel is located was not very nice. However, it was in fact safe and interesting, especially the markets....

Beautiful hotel with good facilities, soft furnishings make this a high end hotel in new state of repair. In an excellent location for exploring old town. The hotel staff were really helpful, friendly and fun. Breakfast was included and is cooked to order, not just buffet which was also included if preferred. I really couldn't fault the hotel or staff. Excellent hotel- they just get everything right, even dealing with problems. At one point we were miscommunicated breakfast time but the staff were so fantastic at dealing with the problem by ensuring that we were looked after that it not only wasn’t a problem - it was turned into a big positive. They take customer service very seriously. Excellent experience all round - other hotels could learn a lot. Great food. Lovely location. And very quiet l. All round well done !

2nd visit to the hotel. Very nice, large, well appointed room. Fantastic breakfast spread, didn't have time to use the spa facilities. Hotel is in a good position for the Old Town and restaurants, also airport bus stop very close. Highly recommended.

Loved everything about this hostel. The location is super convenient, an easy walk to the city centre and the staff were friendly. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless, and the overall atmosphere was fantastic. The cherry on top was the free fruit! I would definitely come back again

One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the location which, whilst stone throws away from city centre, still put us in the more quite part of the town not far from some nice parks and the airport. The hotel was recently opened and everything felt brand new. The Grand Hotel is superbly located. As I entered the lobby, I was warmly greeted and advised of the location of breakfast and also the times On arrival at my room I was immediately impressed by the amount of space I had and how richly furnished and decorated it was. The king sized bed was very comfortable and high standard furnishings were provided, along with effective air conditioning.
