Gorgeous hotel, super relaxing, delicious pool. Staff super nice and helpful. Activities on certain days. Be aware of tide changes but that's across all the island.

The pictures will fool you! This place is filthy with cracked floors, overpriced room rates, beverages and zero customer care!

Dear guest did you forget we help you to cancel your booking and to give you your money back? The room you booked it was exactly the room you choosed a family "garden" view room. No sea view in the description, so how can you say zero customer care if we gave you also a possibility to cancel directly through Hotels.com to save all your money but you refused to do? A different family went there and all were happy except you. In any case thank you for your review

Positive aspects: - Service is pretty good. Entire staff is unbelievably friendly, cordial, polite, and they are extremely attentive. - Precision Air cancelled my flight with extremely short notice (don't fly with them) and even though I had booked and paid for a taxi for an hour later, the resort got another taxi to show up within minutes to take me to the airport. I wouldn't have made it to my flight otherwise. - The drinks from the bar are pretty great, they take a little bit making them but it's worth it. They even told me when they had received not so good mangoes that would make the flavor of one of the drinks subpar l. Negative things: - Would get our meal order wrong. Even when they got it right, the food was bad. We should probably have stocked with burgers and the blue Marlin. - We got a couple's massage and the hygiene of the place was not ideal. Also, the massage was kinda weird.

Beach is not worth it but property restaurant is very decent. It is meant for a quiet place, so no tv ...could get quite boring. Pool was nice ...for a couple days retreat it’s fine...for a week...not really

A great resort. It's very, very beautiful. The architecture, the barefoot concept, the rooms, the beautiful sea view, all the friendly staff. I really liked everything. All the employees were always in a good mood, everyone tried to fulfill almost every wish of me and my daughter. Everyone was always nice, friendly, accommodating, funny, helpful. I really enjoyed it and had a wonderful holiday.

A well run hotel in a traditional style with comfortable facilities and great staff. Excellent food. Quiet area near a local village with only a few other hotels and bars around. Nice bay with a walkable beach but limited for swimming due to the tides. Highly recommended for a relaxing quiet holiday. No TV's in room but some nice entertainment in the Restaurant on several evenings per week.

Die Anlage ist traumhaft schön, wirklich wie die Fotos beim buchen. Die Ebbe nimmt man stark war da der Strand sehr flach ist und das Wasser um 3 m steigt und fällt. Also ist wirklich kein Wasser da und auch stellenweise viele Steine

Eine sehr schöne Hotelanlage unter italienischen Management. Ich kann besonders die Bungalows empfehlen! Ebbe und Flut sind auf der Ostseite von Zanzibar besonders stark. Es ist für die Personen zu empfehlen die Ruhe suche und genießen. Mit Kinder vielleicht für 3-Tage und nicht mehr. Es ist alles sehr für die Natur belassen. Es gibt keine gepflasterten Wege. Am besten alles zu Fuß innerhalb der Anlage erledigen.

Sauber, sicher, schönes Resort
Wir hatten eine 3 Schlafzimmer Suite gebucht. Die Zimmer sind absolut sauber & modern eingerichtet. Täglich wird das Zimmer gereinigt und die Handtücher getauscht. Wir hatten einen kleinen Privaten Garten nur für uns der auch eine Dusche im freien beinhaltet. Wirklich gelungenes extra. Man merkt an den vielen kleinen Details das man mehr bekommt als in vielen anderen vergleichbaren Resorts. Auch nicht zu vernachlässigen ist die Sicherheit. Es sind 24/7 neun Maasai die das Hotelgelände bewachen. Die Anlage mit Pool kann man wirklich auch nur als gelungen anerkennen. Es ist alles sehr gepflegt und Sauber. Dies ist gut auf den Bildern zu erkennen. Der Service des Personals ist wirklich nur als nahezu perfekt zu bezeichnen. Die Maasai waren so freundlich haben sich bei an und abreise um das Gepäck gekümmert. Die Zimmerreinigung hat jeden Tag das Bett neu mit Blumen oder sonstigen spielerein geschmückt. Abends kommt jemand um das Zimmer mit einem Mückenspray zu behandelt. Täglich sind die Sandwege gesäubert und gerecht worden. Dies galt auch für den Strandabschnitt vor dem Hotel. Waren wir morgens auf einem Ausflug und am Abreisetag sind uns kleine ToGo Päckchen gepackt worden. Jeden Abends gab es kostenloses Gebäck mit Kaffee und Tee. Am Abreisetag mussten wir das Hotel um 3 Uhr morgens verlassen (wir waren die einzigen abreisenden an dem Tag). Der Resort Manager ist extra um diese Uhrzeit aufgestanden um sich von uns zu verabschieden. Allem in allem eine absolute Empfehlung.
