Amazing getaway

The house it self is beautiful and the property is amazing the hot tub was definitely a top 10 for us we enjoyed everything there it was nice to relax and enjoy the scenery definetly intend to go back

Girls Getaway

Peaceful setting on the river. Accommodations were as described, but the upstairs gets hot and fans are quite noisy. Plenty of space for everyone. Outside areas were great and the hot tub was enjoyed by all.

World class property.

If I could give this property, a 10 star rating I would. It’s absolutely spectacular very well kept clean very well updated and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we could stay longer although it was a business trip myself and my family would come back for a casual trip just to spend more time there. Great job great property.

Christmas at the Cabin

We had a wonderful time, it is beautifully decorated and fully stocked. We cooked Christmas dinner, and made Xmas decorations. The Barn/bar area was perfect place to put together our Grinch puzzle and hang out. We also loved the hot tub over looking the river. Great place! We want to have Christmas again there next year!!

Lovely get away

Our stay was AMAZING! The host was very nice and helpful very quick with responses. The house is exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the hot tub and the view of the river . The vibes were really peaceful. There is a nice fire pit but you do have to bring your own firewood , there is a bar but it’s basically BYOB other than that it’s the perfect get away. We will definitely recommend this stay to our friends and family and totally book again .

Relaxing and serene

Just what we wanted, a getaway with peace and quiet with the perfect mix of nature, beauty and fun! The house was perfect and the bar and hot tub made it even better. Very quiet neighbors, barely knew they were there. We found a bar in the middle of nowhere called the wooden nickel, it was a neat and friendly place. I hope to return in the future when the weather is a bit warmer. I have zero negative to say about our stay!

Relaxing Riverside Retreat

We had a wonderful four night stay at this beautiful VRBO. As a Zanesville native, it was the perfect combination of being close enough to easily get to all the must dos - Tom's Ice Cream Bowl, Donald's Donuts, and Adornettos Pizza yet far enough for my family to enjoy the beauty of the countryside and enjoy the birds along the Muskingum River. The inside and outside living spaces were comfortable and inviting. We all hope to stay here again on a future trip. Also, Jodie was wonderful and so accommodating of our needs. Many thanks for a great time!

Great Get Away

Beautiful property with plenty to do to relax your way. We visited for 4 nights/3 days. Took in Dresden 1 afternoon and visited the many shops and a wonderful meal at the Warehouse. Went antiquing along I -40 and caught son’s soccer game at Muskingum University. Lastly, went for wine tasting and a meal at Killing Tree Winery. Plenty to do and time to relax by the fire pit, hot tub, a game of darts in the “man cave”, or just have some you time on on one of the many couches or sitting areas this place provides. Will definitely be looking to come back in the future.

Wonderful Stay

We were in Zanesville for a dance competition and it was also our twins birthday. This place gave us so much opportunity for family activities and comfort. We loved the the bar area and enjoyed playing darts with the big window open. The hot tub was so relaxing to sit in while watching the river flow. The only thing that was a little upsetting was we couldn't get the outside gas fireplace to work even with the help of the property manager. It was raining our whole visit so we couldn't use the fire pit and we would of really enjoyed being able to sit next to the fireplace that was under the covered seating area. Aside from that everything was amazing and we really enjoyed our stay.

Weekend Get-Away Riverview

We completely enjoyed our stay at the beautiful home on the bank of the Muskingum River, where we dipped in and cooled off after a very hot and humid Summer day. The outdoor pavilion with indoor room and bar was amazing appointed with a garage style door, that open to inside of the pavilion make it enjoyable to listen to music or watch TV while seated outdoors. The bedrooms we very comfortable, however the beds on the second floor are a bit small for two adults. Queen size beds would be much better. House was very clean and comfortable. We will certainly be back next year!

Beautiful quiet location on the river. Especially loved the bar room, outdoor patio and fire pit area. The house was great and had everything we could have needed. They even supplied some firewood. The host was very nice and helpful too. Overall a wonderful stay and not a single issue or anything that could have been better!

This property was better than expected!! The owner was very responsive when we had a question. We used the kitchen every day and it had everything we needed to make breakfast and dinners. The beds where comfortable in every bedroom. The hot tub was definitely an extra bonus along with the dbl j bar where we spent all of our evenings. If we came back o this area we would without a doubt stay here again. We did ride in on motorcycle and the driveway was a little tricky getting in and out of. The trick was sending 1 up to be the eyes for traffic and then the rest came up.

Weekend Friends Trip

Excellent property configuration for a weekend hangout with friends. Very quiet surroundings, picturesque view of the river. Better than average kitchen setup, had a great couple meals huddled around the center kitchen island. Town is close enough for amenities to be within reach but far enough away to enjoy some seclusion. Zero issues getting in and out. Evening games in the bar area were a lot of fun, complete with sitting area and fire pit (we didn’t use but they were well maintained). House was very comfortable for unseasonably warm weather.

Hidden Gem!

Check in was smooth. Communication with the owners was top notch! This property is absolutely stunning and included everything you need for your stay. Fully stocked kitchen was perfect for cooking family meals. The hot tub was amazing! The view, so tranquil. The party house was the icing on the cake. We spent our evenings playing cards and games at the bar and sitting around the fire table. The Dresden swim center was the perfect place close by for a swim! The roads to the house are very curvy and hilly and it takes about 20 minutes to get to town. Plenty of stores and restaurants in Zanesville. Zero complaints about this amazing property! The owners have thought of everything. You won’t be disappointed!

Beautiful, peaceful retreat!

We never left the property. Why would we? Everything we needed for a girlfriend reunion was there: hangout spaces inside and out, large kitchen with lots of space for everyone, fire pit, hot tub, and games, games, games! It was a perfect place to spend quality time.It’s clear this is more than a vacation rental. The owners hearts are in it, and they’ve build it for comfort, relaxation and fun. Get up early for the gorgeous, still river steaming into a new day. Maybe you’ll catch a bald eagle snatching a fish from the river, as we did. If not, you’re sure to see some beavers at work.You don’t have to bring much, so much is provided: soaps, towels, all the dishes and accoutrements you’ll need. We’ll be back!

Spring time fun

We arrived on tues eve and were happy with the house and amenities. It was a quiet and peaceful stay. The kitchen was fine and the bathrooms were clean and nice. We enjoyed the party house and the fire places that worked really well. We were able to access stores to get things we needed as well as enjoying local fun spots including a local winery. The beds were comfy and well sized. We had some trouble accessing the Wi-Fi/internet and called the hosts who were willing and able to jump right on the issue and we were able to access this service for the remainder of our stay. There were clear instructions as to what was expected of us (clean up at checkout) and what we could expect from our stay. There were even snacks for the guys to take along on their hikes!! All in all a great stay!
