Zamami is a tiny island and there are not a lot of options, but this one is certainly at the top of the list. We stayed in the deluxe double on the top floor, with private bath and toilet - and a huge deck/patio off the bedroom. The location is quiet and an easy/leisurely 20-minute walk to the port, or a 5-minute bike ride. 2-minute walk to the beach. Will happily stay here again in the future.

We lived our stay! The staff was incredibly pleasant and welcoming. The homecooked food is amazing. The room was peaceful and clean. Will definitely stay again.

Super friendly owners and really nice stay
The futons are thick and comfortable. The room is big and nice. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. You can borrow bikes for free there and they drive you back to the ferry. It was a really nice stay!

Japanese-style guesthouse (futons on floor, tatami mats), with wonderful hosts and great food -- they graciously (and tastefully!) accommodated our request for vegetarian-only meals. Great location, close to the beaches where the turtles can be seen. Thank you!

Fantastic location, even better staff!!!
The hotel is in a fantastic location only a two minute from Ama Beach where sea turtles visit daily. The best aspect of the stay was the friendliness of the staff. We were picked up from the ferry terminal when we arrived and dropped off when we left. We stayed with our 18 month old son and had absolutely no issues. Highly recommend having dinner at the dive house as well for a beautiful authentic Japanese meal.

Relaxing, convenient, adventure dive house
Our stay here was amazing. We were a little worried because we weren't sure how we were going to get from the port on Zamami island to the hostel, but there was a van waiting to pick us up! Our room was traditional tia mat Japanese style but the cushions were very comfortable. There are free bikes available to go into town, which is just a 5 minute bike ride or 15 minute walk. The host is absolutely wonderful. Seriously the nicest human being we met during our travels in Japan. We ended up exploring the island a lot on bikes and even rented snorkeling gear from our dive house for 10 bucks. The beach that is only 5 minutes away has lots of coral, cool fish, and even sea turtles! We saw one while we were snorkeling! The dive house also offers dinner and breakfast (not sure the cost), but we rode into town to the many restaurants. The meals were delicious and reasonably priced for an island. All in all I would totally recommend staying here. When my girlfriend came down with the flu, the host was constantly checking on us giving us medicine and making sure everything was okay. It's basically like staying with your dear sweet mother!

ひとり旅で少し不安に思っていましたが、口コミ通り親切な対応で、港まで迎えに来てくださり、心地よく滞在させて頂きました。 共同で使う備品なども必要なものは完備されていて嬉しかったです。 清潔感もあり、女性の方にもおすすめします。 是非また利用したいお宿でした。

建物に古さはありますが、とても清潔にされている感じや、綺麗なガーデンもあり素晴らしかったです。共用部にネスカフェアンバサダーが置いてあるのも良かったです。 歯ブラシやカミソリなどは2019年3月現在は50円でした。みなさんが普通持ってきていそうなものは有料にしているのは乱用を防げるので、離島という場所柄、エコで好感が持てました。忘れてしまったら気軽に買えるのが親切だなと思いました。 スタッフの皆さんも親切でした。ひとり旅でも安心して泊まれました。

Super nice family operated hotel. Pick up service from the ferry and free shuttles to Zamami village. Beautiful location right at Ama Beach where you can dive with sea turtles. I will definitely come back as soon as possible. Best stay ever

居心地の良い宿
子連れで家族で2泊させて頂きました。 フェリーの着く港からは、車で5分で、スタッフさんが迎えに来て下さいました。 阿真ビーチまで、歩いて行けます！ 和室のお部屋で、とても快適に過ごせました！！

老闆娘真的太親切了！即使語言不通還是非常熱心幫助我們，剛離島什麼都不知道，老闆們真的很用心！不用多久馬上就想再回去吃美味的早餐了！

Very nice stay at this fantastic family. They pick you up at the ferry terminal and al the time witha smile on their faces. Rooms are nice and clean,facilities good and it is very close to the beach. Free bikes to borrow!

호텔은 지겹고 게스트 하우스는 불편하다면, 민숙이 답이죠. 자마미에서 추천할 만한 곳^^
야도카리 라는 다이빙 샵을 함께 운영하고 있어서 바로 연계가 가능한 민숙입니다. 주인아저씨도 재미있고 (수중사진가), 우리 주방장 다나카상 아주머니도 아주 수다스럽고 따뜻하네요. 자자미 마을에서 도보로 20분 거리라 좀 애매한 듯도 하지만 민숙에서 자전거를 무료로 빌려주니 특별히 문제는 없구요, 가까운 곳에 아마비치가 있고 가장 가까운 전망대까지도 도보로 30분 정도 거리라 산책하기에 아주 좋습니다. 럭셔리한 호텔은 아니지만 일본 민숙의 매력을 제대로 느낄 수 있습니다. 각자 방에서, 외부에서 활동을 즐기다가 민숙 1층에 있는 거실에 모여 식사를 함께하며 교류하는 느낌이 좋은 공간입니다.
