The Space:

Floor-to-ceiling glass, clean architectural lines, and warm natural materials give Moonlight Mile a distinctly modern desert character. The open living spaces flow onto generous patios, while oversized windows frame the surrounding rock formations like works of art. Inside, rich green furnishings, light wood finishes, and thoughtfully chosen artwork bring warmth to the contemporary design. With three ensuite bedrooms and plenty of room to gather, the home makes it easy to share a getaway while still finding space for yourself.

-Outdoor Amenities-

The landscape surrounding Moonlight Mile is an invitation to explore. With more than 6,000 acres of protected wilderness at your doorstep, you can set out on foot among Joshua trees, native desert plants, and remarkable rock formations without getting in the car.



The outdoor spaces are designed to make coming home just as appealing. Cool off in the seasonal cowboy tub, rinse away the desert dust beneath one of two outdoor showers, or settle into a lounger with an uninterrupted view of the rugged hills. The cowboy tub is a rustic outdoor soaking feature rather than an in-ground swimming pool and is unavailable November through March.



The hot tub sits on its own terrace, with a decorative breeze-block wall and expansive views across the desert. Nearby, a propane fire pit creates a comfortable gathering place as the evening air cools.



A large covered patio offers another inviting place to spend time together, with cushioned seating, a dining area for eight, and a propane BBQ. It's equally suited to long lunches out of the sun or relaxed dinners after a day exploring Pioneertown and the surrounding desert.



The property embraces its natural surroundings and is not fully fenced.



-Living Area-

The living room is bright, spacious, and comfortably furnished, with oversized sliding glass doors that make the outdoors feel like an extension of the room. A deep green sofa, soft neutral seating, layered textiles, and a collection of contemporary furnishings give the space an inviting, lived-in feel.



Gather for a movie on the TV, settle into the window nook with a book, or simply open the doors and let the views become the backdrop to an afternoon together. The open layout offers plenty of room to spread out while keeping everyone connected.



-Kitchen and Dining-

With natural wood cabinetry, white countertops, open shelving, and sculptural pendant lighting, the kitchen is as welcoming as it is functional. A generous island with bar seating creates an easy gathering spot for preparing meals, sharing appetizers, or keeping the cook company.



The kitchen is equipped with the essentials for dining at home, including a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and cookware.



An indoor dining area offers space for meals together, while the covered outdoor dining patio gives you another option when the weather calls for eating outside. Pick up ingredients for a home-cooked dinner, fire up the BBQ, and enjoy an evening around the table without having to leave the property.



-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-

Moonlight Mile comfortably accommodates up to eight guests across three thoughtfully furnished bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom, giving families and groups the convenience of private bathing spaces, along with an additional half bath for shared use.



The sleeping arrangements include one bedroom with a king bed, a second with a queen bed, and a third with two queen beds. Soft linens, understated desert-inspired artwork, and warm furnishings create calm, comfortable spaces to retreat to at the end of the day.



One bedroom features sliding glass doors that open directly toward the desert landscape, bringing beautiful natural light and views into the room.



The bathrooms are equally considered. One ensuite features a freestanding soaking tub positioned beside a large picture window overlooking the boulders, while another offers both a bathtub and walk-in shower. Modern fixtures and thoughtful finishes make these spaces feel like a natural extension of the home's relaxed, contemporary design.



-Surrounding Area-

Pappy & Harriet's and the Old West storefronts of Pioneertown, La Copine, the Integratron and downtown Joshua Tree all make good outings from Moonlight Mile. More than 6,000 acres of the Sand to Snow National Monument begin right at the home.



Guest Access:

The entire house and property are yours to enjoy! Please note that a few supply closets stay locked to store rental supplies.



The Neighborhood:

Moonlight Mile is near Pioneertown, next to the Sand to Snow National Monument. There is no cell phone coverage at the home. The last 1.5 miles to the home are dirt roads.

Getting Around:

A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.



Please note that Moonlight Mile is in a remote location, and the final stretch to the home is on dirt roads, so please take it slow. The dirt roads are maintained, and a four-wheel drive car is not necessary, but please note that the dirt road conditions vary and may have bumps and ruts, particularly after rainstorms.



Low-riding cars are not recommended on the dirt road.
