The area around Sweet Rock Ranch makes you feel like you’ve rented a space within the national park. The hiking trails out back are as close to private as you can get, with awe inspiring views in all directions. While the silence is bliss, it feels like a loud voice of nature speaking to you as the wind blows. Very special place. The accommodations were wonderful, everything was in great shape with simple straightforward directions. We rented the Homestead Cabin which was equally amazing. The only downside of the property would be there only being two bathrooms, and no on site laundry. The bathrooms were very clean and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to use for us, we did a lot of cooking during our stay. I spent a lot of time finding this place and it was worth the extra time. I recently had the most incredible stay at an VRBO that I will never forget. The highlight of the property was the outdoor bed, which was perfect for stargazing. The mattress was so comfortable and I fell asleep under the twinkling night sky feeling like I was in a dream. The property itself was absolutely stunning, with beautiful Joshua trees and a peaceful atmosphere. I loved exploring the grounds and taking in the natural beauty that surrounded me. One of my favorite features was the cowboy tub, where I spent hours relaxing and enjoying the sunshine. The hosts were so welcoming and made me feel right at home. They were friendly and were very communicative The attention to detail in the design of the property was truly impressive and added an extra touch of grandour to my stay. I cannot recommend this VRBO enough. If you're looking for a unique and unforgettable experience, look no further than this beautiful property. Highly recommend. We had a wonderful trip to Joshua Tree and stayed at Sweet Rock Ranch. We had a group of 8 of us and the property was great with accomodating a large group. The indoor space flowed well and felt so inviting. We loved the proximity to Joshua Tree, as well as having what felt like a “Mini”Joshua Tree National Park right off the deck of the home. Lots of great outdoor areas to hang out- hot tub, fire pit, great back porch, yoga deck, etc. you can go for a hike right out the back door! Well stocked kitchen and super comfy house. Love all of the art work in and around the house. It’s very close to the park’s west entrance, grocery store, and JT. John and Deva were extremely helpful and responsive.
