Limited info provided at check-in, but essentially if you want them to take your trash, you leave it outsidee your door. Super quiet. Shower is small and can get very wet. AC works great. "The rooms were very clean! Next to the hotel are numerous public paid car parking spots and scooter spots. 10 minutes walk to a local food district and a 10 minute walk to the local Hualien night market."

"I had a wonderful stay at the Lanven Art House when visiting Hualien. The room was clean and very spacious, with a huge soft bed, and lovely bathroom with a deep soaking tub (perfect to unwind after a day at Taroko Gorge). The central location is great, with plenty of great restaurants, cafes and bars nearby, and only about 10 minutes walk to the night market. Despite the location, noise was not a concern. What stood out to me the most was the warmth and hospitality shown by the property owners....

"It’s a gem within the hustle & bustle. It’s a townhouse building within the residential area for more authentic local experience. 8mins walk to the main train station and 5mins walk to the Main Street - ZhongShan Street, 2km straight road full of eateries. The host was very nice and friendly, room was spacious enough and clean. Was a pleasant 4days stay for us. Highly recommended."
