We stayed at Apartment 1 the keys for three months and very much enjoyed our stay. The apartment has a great location near the river making it easy to go on walks to the city center and to get to the university.

Great location ,so easy to walk into town. Defo dont bring a big car to park, alley is really narrow. . Shower was brilliant very powerful and instant hot water. Other than that a lovely apartment and a perfect location, will definitely stay again.

The apartment was in a great location (10mins walking to the city centre) I was so glad reading previous reviews about the struggle of getting a big car threw the tiny ally way so we took my car which just fitted (Toyota CHR) we drove to the bottom of the road and the turn is slightly bigger than the 1 which is stated on the attachment they send you. There was some minor damage in the apartment - bedroom door had a crack in it and the couch had rips on the arm. Overall the apartment was clean and it was ideal location

Great base for exploring York

This apartment is a great base for exploring York. If you turn left out of the front door and follow Ambrose Street down to the river, York centre is a lovely 10 minute walk along the river bank. It is a comfortable, well equipped apartment, only downside is the parking. The parking space is down two very narrow alleys. That wouldn’t be a problem it there weren’t two very sharp corners to execute down those alleys. My car will be visiting the body shop next week unfortunately. It is a big car but the alleys are extremely narrow and there is no on road parking in the vicinity that isn’t permit only. Other than that it is a wonderful little base for a break in York.
