The property was perfect - the location was near the train station, and within a moderate walk from most everything we wanted to do in York. Great location within easy reach of the station and the city walls. Little supermarket within a short walk. Great mattreses and plenty of comforts within the house. Nice courtyard outdoor area, including a small covered area. The only downside was a little bit of traffic noise at the front of the house because the windows were open (it was over a hot weekend). Otherwise a very comfortable stay. I would recommend this accommodation for anyone wanting to visit York. ##### Gill A. The ‘welcome pack’ was very welcome & our host did everything he could to accommodate our requests. We’ll be back when next we cross over the Pennines from God’s County of Lancashire. Walking distance from the main line railway station and easy access to town centre. We walked everywhere and didn't need our car. There is plenty of parking space in front of the house for a car or large mpv. There is a small supermarket just a few minutes walk down the road as well as a selection of great restaurants nearby.
