The room was exactly like it was on the website. It was a fabulous place to stay sitting on the balcony looking at the beach was wonderful and if you needed help, you could contact them and they were very helpful.

We have stayed at Stone's Throw multiple times and we highly recommend it. The room we stayed in was on the smaller side, but big enough with a very comfortable queen bed. The room had a nice bathroom and both the room and bathroom were attractive and clean. We didn't really see any staff as they have contactless check in, however instructions and communication were good. Parking was convenient and near our room. I should also note that there was a small refrigeraror in the room. The long, expansive, sandy beach is right across the road from the hotel which was perfect. Another big plus is that The Stone's Throw restaurant is right next door. There is inside and outside seating. The menu is interesting. We had appetizers and drinks which were both great. Just to note though, the restaurant was closed on Tuesday and Wednesday during the time of our stay.

Unfortunately, we had absolutely no hot water in the shower. In fact, it was freezing. We didn’t have time to request maintenance because we had a wedding to attend in an hour. Second thing, the fact that the stairwell lights were not working or just never turned on, was a huge concern. Especially last night with the rain and the stairwell being slippery. Huge liability in my opinion. One other issue, the walls must be very thin because we could hear everything in the room next to us. On a positive note, the bed was extremely comfortable!! The food and Lindsay our server at the restaurant was excellent! She was a breath of fresh air! This was our first trip to Maine - we will be back to eat at the restaurant. Unfortunately, we will find other accommodations for sleeping.

Beautiful room and the best view and sounds of the ocean. Great restaurant underneath. I’m an early riser but it is really noisy starting first thing on the morning. Traffic and deliveries. If you like privacy in your deck ask for the 3rd floor.

Pros: Room was very clean and updated. The view was great and the people watching from the balcony was a lot of fun. Check in is automated via an outdoor kiosk so we barely spoke with staff. Cons: Room was very small (the picture felt a bit deceptive) and the bathroom was even smaller. There was no closet in the room either which made the room feel even more compact.
