Easy walk into everything York has to offer especially all the restaurants that are close by. Very well equipped, kitchen has all the things you need if you want to stay in. The bathrooms were great, loads of hot water and lovely soft big bath sheets. All the linen was fresh and clean. It did not disappoint! Location wise this home is just a few minutes walk from the shambles and all the city centre attractions and amenities. Lots of eateries all close by and Tesco express and Sainsbury’s local all close by too. It was lovely to not have to worry about parking when so close to the centre, meant we could head out for the day and not worry about getting a space when we got back. There is a bit of noise from the street but this is to be expected for the location and it didn’t bother us too much. We didn’t use the car at all during our stay. It was clean and spacious with everything you would need for a city getaway. We would very much consider staying here again in the future. What makes it special is the location in the centre of York and the inclusive secure parking which means you can arrive on your first day, park your car at no extra cost and then walk to everything over the next few days. It’s great to be able to walk within ten minutes to all the attractions, bars, restaurants and local Tesco or Sainsbury’s. Great location with everything on your doorstep! The apartment was spacious, well presented and exceptionally clean. Everything provided from towels and linens to a fully equipped kitchen. We stayed during 2 warm summer days and the only way to cool down the apartment was to leave the front door open -;not feasible at night . Large windows at the front of the house did not open and seemed to be screwed shut ( fire risk surely?). The bedrooms were uncomfortably hot at night.
