Walking enthusiasts can enjoy a gentle riverside stroll, woodland walks or moorland trails, whilst fishing, riding and golf are available locally. Sinnington has an inn renowned for qualitty food, whilst Pickering has a good choice of shops, pubs and restaurants and is home to the Steam Preservation Railway.
