"We travelled with our adult daughter and 2 dogs and loved Lynne's house. Very welcoming and comfortable, especially the beds and linen. The kitchen had everything we needed and we loved the BBQ on the wrap around verandah. View was amazing. Able to walk to the beach in 10 minutes, a bit challenging walking back up the hill. The bedrooms upstairs were quite hot as not air-conditioned, but fans were provided. The only thing that disappointed was that the spa bath didn't work, and the wet weather (which is out of everyone's control!)Would definitely recommend and hope to return."

"As with a lot of older motels we have stayed in, the owners seem to be unable to keep up with the maintenance around the place. Room very clean and comfortable. Bed comfortable and pillows good with spares. Very quiet, next to the river."

"My biggest complaint is to Hotels.com and not the Kempsey City Center. I made the reservation and paid about six weeks in advance using the Hotels.com app. But the app never showed the reservation. Luckily I had copied the itinerary # so had that. On the day of checkin I tried to find it, couldn’t and no one else on Hotels.com could either. Fortunately when we arrived the hotel did indeed have our paid ressie so Hotels.com wasted much of my time plus worry and frustration over a ressie that YOU couldn’t find. The hotel was a tad noisy. They only had instant coffee. They have Netflix but the previous guest didn’t sign out and it took an hour to resolve. They say they had continental breakfast but it wasn’t clear that you had to order it the night before to be delivered to your room."

"This is my second visit and I'll be back. The house has a fantastic kitchen, very comfortable living area, and lovely view from the rear deck. The beds are comfortable and area is pretty quiet. A very relaxing stay. Close to beach and facilities. Cassie and Jeff are wonderful hosts. They provide lots of basics and a few very nice extras.Strongly recommended."

"My husband and I love Crescent Head and the location of the caravan park and have stayed there many times.I booked a Lakeside cabin with queen bed and double bed for two nights but our cabin had adouble bed and triple bunks. We accepted the booking because it was only two nights and we were meeting up with friends but because we are older and I have mobility issues we did not sleep well and the shower had no pressure and barely warm. Time for an upgrade."

"The property was great with fabulous views. Love that we could take our floofer there, although the property doesn’t have a fenced yard, so keep an eye on them . Nutchy was excellent with her communication. We stayed in the king bed and it was so comfy! A great nights sleep and the views to wake up to were amazing! Thanks so much Nutchy!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We did have a few things we wanted to bring up to possibly improve future experiences.The vacuum cleaner was completely snapped/broken and not able to be used - it's not safe and needs replacing and a broom/dustpan would have helped. We had no way to tidy up.The bedroom door had cracked wood, and the frame is broken in the loungeroom. Just wanted to mention those.The mattress is well used on one side - I recommend replacing. I could not sleep at all on it but thankfully my husband took this side so I could get some rest. The bed definitely needs tightening - it's super squeaky and loud with light movements.The tv needs upgrading - a bigger smart tv would help - also doesn't match the user manual in the drawer.There were lots of random bugs/insects - lots of larger ants at night in the toilet.The microwave has no plate - I did see in a previous review and assumed it would have been replaced as we have the same microwave from kmart at home. It does make use difficult. The community laundry definitely needs some updating - the washing machines were broken/had parts off them and I feel like this did affect use (unsure if this is your domain), but definitely needs more pegs or maybe a dryer to assist as well. I recommend a door /windows to help protect from the weather.We appreciated the general supplies, very helpful.Please let us know if any updates are made as well and we will keep in mind for our minimum once yearly visit to Crescent Head."
