"The welcome was very friendly and the complimentary coffee from Reception was a lovely touch. Our room was in the old part of the building. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. You need to duck under openings at parts on the stairs but this was part of the charm. "Just returned from a birthday weekend away to Cambridge thought we would give the Delta marriott a try was not dissapointed the only negative was hubby wasn't pleased at having to pay extra £5 per night to use the car park and we were ther for 4 days the rooms were beautifully decorated and immaculate the breakfast was slightly expensive but very tasty and plentiful and to top it off the swimming pool was great as was the jacuzzi will definitely be returning oh and I nearly forgot returned after visiting my grandson who lives ten mins away to find the hotel had made a plate of fruit up for me as it was my birthday....Thanks for making my birthday special"
