The room was beautiful—very spacious, private, and right on its own beach, which we loved. That said, the resort is extremely small, with one central area for all meals, and the menu did not change during our stay. Getting there requires a four-hour ferry ride from Port Denarau with only one arrival and departure per day, so flights must be planned carefully. The ride can be rough if you’re prone to motion sickness. Fiji overall is quite expensive, and water is not complimentary with meals, which adds up quickly. The resort is very natural, so there are many insects, which may be uncomfortable for some guests. Our main takeaway is that this is a very quiet, slow-paced resort. With only about 15 guests and 1–2 short activities per day, most of the time is spent relaxing. The pool is small and not very inviting. If you’re looking for an active resort experience, this may not be the right fit, but it could suit travelers seeking total relaxation and privacy.
