"We have stayed in this hotel twice in two years. Both times, it has been an enjoyable stay. The location is very strategic, close to Queen Victoria market and other parts of the CBD. Rooms are still reasonably priced, and amenities are alright. Not out of the ordinary, but also not a let down. I noticed that the breakfast selection has gotten fewer in my second stay. I understand the current economic climate is impacting all businesses. Overall, decent and no fuss stay for the price. "

"Great central spot in town. Lovely quiet room that is DARK.. unusual in the city they have lovely block out. But the facilites are tired. Our bathroom didnt have a plug grill in the top of the bath shower drain. You could lose anything down it. It was just tired. Would stay here agian though "

"Check in very smooth will lovely staff nothing a problem. Having an apartment was great if have children. Very clean & large kitchen. Comfy beds & breakfast great but need to get there early as everybody seems to have the buffet as the price is fantastic. Very handy to transport. Close to markets & eateries. About 20 minutes from train station but can catch trams. Great large heated pool. Will return!!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Flagstaff Gardens. Location was fantastic, easy walking to explore, bus and train close by. Room was clean and spacious and we also used the clean option not to have the room cleaned daily as we were staying 5 nights, a saving of $10 per night not cleaned. Breakfast was included in our booking and we both enjoyed everything on offer. Plenty of options and everything refilled in a timely manner. It set us up for our days out exploring. We dined in the restaurant one night and the service and food were both excellent All the staff were very friendly and highly competent. We even received fruit and chocolate in our room after we mentioned it was our wedding anniversary."
