The staff is lovely and happy to help with anything you might need. We ate at the hotel one night and went out another night. The menu at the hotel is limited and mainly designed around sets (multi-course meals) but the food was good. Would recommend to anyone looking to get away from noise, traffic, and busy cities. Enjoying breakfast on the terrace in the morning is delightful, and the breakfast itself is delicious. The hotel staff are incredibly kind and always greet you with a smile. It's a short, pleasant walk of less than 10 minutes from the hotel to the lakeside in the mountains, where strolling by the lake is very relaxing. Additionally, the hotel offers shuttle service to nearby stations, which adds to the convenience. It was our first time in Japan and we were there for 10 days. The staff was so incredibly kind and helpful. They made us feel right at home. The hotel itself is beautifully designed. We could even see Mount Fuji from the deck! The rooms were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and new. They also offer a private hot bath you can reserve which was a really nice touch after a long day. We appreciated that they had food available whether that was dinner or breakfast and we took advantage of that a number of times. It's just a short drive or walk down to the lake. We had a rental car and the parking was right in front of the building. Super easy.
