  • Casa Rachel, situated in a quiet cul de sac with ample parking and fabulous open views of the sea, is only a 7 minute walk from the beautiful, child friendly Flamingo Beach with it's variety of restaurants and shops. Entering the south-facing garden you step into a private, peaceful haven with mature Canarian planting, an electrically and solar heated swimming pool with alfresco dining and lounge seating under the shade of the pergola which can be illuminated at night. There is a traditional barbeque and plenty of outdoor seating and sun loungers. The tranquil garden is not overlooked. The villa and gardens are on one level with no steps. The stylish open plan interior is accessed through French windows into modern kitchen, dining and sitting areas including satellite TV with BBC, ITV etc; DVD; hi-fi and a dresser full of books, toys and games. 2 double bedrooms have air conditioning and the 2 twin bedrooms have fans. There is a bathroom, a shower room and an en-suite shower room.

Excellent communication from host. We hired a car and found it easy getting to shops and exploring Puerto Del Carmen and Puerto Calero. Swimming pool was used a lot. The villa had everything we needed. A hot tub was mentioned in the description but there wasn't one. Had a great holiday and we'd love to go back next year.

We have stayed in many Playa Blanca villas over recent years, including a lot of good ones and this one is the best so far as per:- Way above average garden / plot in terms of size / privacy / always lots of space in the sun or shade and the very unusual bonus of a good sea view. - 5-10 min walk to the best beach in the resort, with safe swimming. Likewise 5 min walk to the 7 mile long sea front promenade (wheras many of the larger villas in the resort are a 15 -20 min walk to the sea front) - Very roomy villa inside (better than the photos show)- Good local management agent used as per: villa was cleaned to a high standard / minor water issue dealt with very quickly (turned out the issue was external to the villa) / pool maintained to a high standard (pool guy not only cleaned pool mid week but also on changeover day so holidays start with a clean pool- Everything works as it should, ie good showers with hot water etc etcWay, way above average villa, recommended

Very well equipped Villa, has the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever seen. The heated pool 26 degrees was a great benefit in Jan / February and made our stay very pleasant. 10 minutes from the beach and restaurant & Bars, 25 minutes walk to the main town!Would happily book again.

We have had a wonderful stay in Casa Rachel. The villa was lovely and clean and very well equipped. We really enjoyed the outside space and pool. The sea view was great. Great Villa perfect location

Great girlie villa week away!

Villa Rachel is in a great location, close enough to everything but tucked away & therefore quiet. The garden is established & well kept & the pool is lovely - and even got cleaned part-way through our stay! We hired a car for the week & that’s definitely a good idea even if for little more than carrying water back from the shops as the closest we found was about a 10-minute walk away. The villa has everything you need…well-equipped kitchen, powerful showers & comfy beds, & communication with Donna was great from start to finish. It’s obvious why they get repeat bookings!

Lovely family villa

We had a wonderful stay in this villa. It is spacious and well laid out and has a comfortable, homely feel. The pool was lovely and warm and kept clean during our stay, my 2 year old granddaughter couldn’t wait to get in every day. The villa is in a quiet location so little noise at night but it was only a short walk to the lovely Flamingo beach,restaurants and shops. Communication with Donna was great, she was really helpful and answered all our queries very quickly.

A beautiful house that lives up to its billing

A spacious, bright, clean, very well equipped property with a lovely swimming pool surrounded by a colorful garden. The outdoor area is private and has a pleasant sea view. Shops, bus stops and Flamingo Beach are within reasonable walking distance, even for our 3 year old. The property is also very well serviced and the single (minor) issue we contacted the manager about was dealt with promptly. I would recommend Casa Rachel to anyone.

Relaxing holiday in stunning villa

We had a lovely stay in your beautiful villa. We all enjoyed the homely feel. It had everything we could have asked for. We had a very relaxing time, weather was in 30s the first week (hotest I've every known Lanzarote) and mid 20s the second. Karen was great, dropping off fresh towels and there if needed. Never stayed in a villa that has been serviced so regularly and had the pool or garden looked after so well. Thanks again for being that personal touch at the end of the phone. We all definitely hope to come back again.

Warm January Sunshine in a handy and comfortable setting.

Everything you need for a pleasant and comfortable winter break in Lanzarote. Great outdoor area and a heated pool overlooking the sparkling sea and Fuertaventura in the distance. The property itself sits below the red volcano (great walk opportunity) and offers really comfortable and pleasant accomodation. Our first visit to Lanzarote which we found much more interesting and varied than we imagined, such as the volcanic vineyards and the beautiful town of Teguise... We had a great time. Return to Villa Rachel

We stayed at this villa 10 years ago so we were interested to see the changes Donna had made. Lovely new kitchen and all new bathrooms with superb walk in showers. Comfortable, air-conditioned bedrooms and a now extended panoramic view of the coast and across to Fuerteventura. Pool was warm and clean and the garden has a lovely sofa area which is particularly pleasant in the early to mid-mornings. Very enjoyable place to enjoy Playa Blanca from. Recommeded.

Beautiful villa. Everything you need. Close by to all amenities with some lovely places to eat and drink. Slight issue with water but one phone call and between Donna the owner and Karen the property manager it was all sorted. Could not fault booking and correspondence from Donna. She was on hand to answer and advise any questions. Would definitely return.
