8.8/10 Excellent! (30 reviews)
The hotel is decent, and the staff are very nice and friendly. However, I wish they were more proactive in providing important information.
When I asked about visiting Tiananmen Square, they gave me directions but did not mention that I needed to reserve in advance or carry my passport. I ended up walking for an hour only to be turned away because I didn’t have my passport. I had to return to the hotel, make a reservation, and go back the next day.
For a short tourist stay, this was a frustrating waste of time and energy. I’m not sure if it was a cultural difference or a language barrier, but I wish the staff had warned me in advance. Overall, they were very kind and helpful when asked.

Hotel not only offers washer and dryer for free but also they can help you do the cleaning if you are too busy to do yourself, very helpful staff. Location is good, I'm able to take bus from summer palace to hotel front door. Bus also goes to some other attractions door to door
