Enjoy stunning views of the clear turquoise waters and snorkel on a small reef just in front of the apartment, where turtles can be spotted. Complimentary beach loungers are put out daily for you to relax, tan and just enjoy the sound of the ocean and the sunshine. The common area also has other tables and chairs - great for hanging out while you dry off, or for enjoying sundowners at sunset. There is also a BBQ for guests to use. If you just want to sit and do nothing but enjoy the ocean views, 3 Sea Star has a lovely covered patio with an ambiance all it's own. The sunsets are very often spectacular and to sip a cool drink watching the ocean is truly the most relaxing and stress free activity of them all. The living area and kitchen open up onto the patio making the ocean view enjoyable from every angle. The apartment is fully outfitted with all you'll need on holiday - including a washer/dryer (every other unit shares a laundry room). We also have a travel cot and a guard rail (for the patio) if you are traveling with a small child. 3 Sea Star is well situated for multiple activities with lots of restaurants, supermarkets, ATM's, gas stations and bars within walking distance. Busses pass regularly if you need to go a little further, and of course you can always rent a car if you prefer to do more exploring on the island. The staff? We had major difficulties checking in, and the person who was on the premises couldn't help us. We had a wonderful time, the neighbors were great, the location was good, and restaurants and shops were within easy reach. And here's the big "but": when we left the room, my husband forgot his glasses, he left them on the kitchen table. I wrote to the manager, to everyone... nobody answered me. The water was beautiful and saw sea turtles multiple times while snorkeling. On two nights, turtles came up to our wall and laid their eggs!!! It had everything we needed Including a shared grill! The condo was clean and an added bonus, washer and dryer! We spent most of our time on the balcony looking at the bright blue ocean and watching the turtles swim! The main bedroom can get loud as the street is close by, but if you have the AC unit on it drowns most of the noise out! The condo is in a perfect area. We walked everywhere. Bars, restaurants, grocery stores. We walked on the beach to many different bays! Walked to the boardwalk, St Lawrence Gap and many other places! We also took the ZR buses to places that were farther away. We absolutely loved our vacation in Barbados! Be aware ac is ONLY in the bedroom - so it’s fans only in the living room and kitchen - also know if you use the laundry the dryer vents into the kitchen - so some additional humidity should be anticipated. The location is great and right in town. We had access to bars and restaurants in the neighborhood- walking distance. Our favorite part was that we had our own private beach with little or no crowds. The view from the balcony is exactly as pictured and even better in person. The concierge service (Shanelle) was very helpful in booking activities and responsive with recommendations. It's not very modern but it was nicely decorated and quaint. We were very comfortable and had everything that was required. Affordable and will recommend. Access to beach via the opposite side of the building a little cumbersome and inconvenient. Unit décor was a little dated but satisfactory for an older complex. In-unit security - quadruple bolted front entrance door and interior steel-bar security barrier did the opposite of instilling a sense of security. Stayed 3 nights in Nov 2023 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Barbara A. 29 Jan 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Superb and a real pleasure to stay The apartment is impressively equipped with everything you might want/need for self catering or just chilling, and we were even greeted by ice already in the excellent fridge/freezer. The apartment’s location (walking distance to 3 supermarkets as well as a number of restaurants and bars in both directions) and position (literally ‘on’ the quiet Worthing beach with sun loungers provided by the apartment) could not be beaten. The management company (BSL Rentals) were excellent with their instructions and communication, and their Housekeeping information book (sent in advance by email) was one of the best we’ve seen. This South coast of Barbados might not be the ‘swanky & expensive’ West coast, but there is lots of local life and stunning beaches to make up for it. From the road outside, it is easy to get into Bridgetown using public transport (BBD$3.50 per per per journey) and all that Dover Beach (eastwards) and Hastings & Rockley beaches (westward) have to offer are in walkable distance, though suggest jumping in a van if visiting Oistins. The airport and cruise terminals are both an approx US$30-40 ride away. ##### Barbara A. There is no better view or location in Worthing. Absolutely stunning. If you want an affordable unit and if you are willing to accept certain 'things', this is a great location. All of the appliances need to be replaced, including the stack washer/dryer (which works well and comes in handy). The towels and linens need IMMEDIATE replacement as white is a very unforgiving colour and wet odours are equally as bad. Bed was super comfortable; great air conditioning. BUT...we were there for 16 days and two of those days were less than ideal. In my opinion, we lost two days of our vacation (left a message with the manager, and as I'm writing this I am back home without ever being contacted).That's not exactly the type of customer service I recommend. The last weekend we were there, there were two very large parties immediately outside the unit (in the bbq area) that started before noon each day and continued well into the night. Excessive drinking, music on blast, folks attempting speak over the music. At one point there were 38 adults competing for 'most intoxicated'. We reported this on Sunday and left the following Thursday, and still no response from management. So if loud drunken parties are your thing, this may be for you. If you are laid back, seeking rest and relaxation in a private location, forget it. ##### randy s. The view is absolutely breathtaking. The photos in the listing are true to life. No filter needed! I could not believe it!! The apt has everything you could possibly need and is in a great location. Loved Mojo just across the street and there is a real life Starbucks a couple doors down (also across the street), which was a nice surprise and comfort from home! There's also a great little wine shop/market next to the Starbucks. Bus stop in front of Mojo as well. Communication prior to and even during the course of my rental was outstanding. Management company also has a concierge that can help with coordinating airport transfers, etc. I cannot say enough about this beautiful apartment! You can hear the ocean loud and clear in the living room with the sliders closed, so I even slept on the couch one night. Note there is only AC in the bedroom and a ceiling fan in the living room. This didn't bother me at all, but might if someone was expecting/desires air conditioning in every room. There is also road noise in the bedroom as the property is right on the main road, so if you need quiet to sleep, bring some ear plugs, because this property is too perfect to pass up!! ##### Charlene G.
