The Farmhouse at Boundary Farm, Framlingham

  • Set in the peaceful village of Saxtead, just outside the market town of Framlingham, the Farmhouse is a fantastic four bedroom holiday home, full of character benefitting from sash windows, original fireplaces and herringbone brick and wooden floors. Dating back from 1850, the rooms are extremely comfortable, spacious and tastefully furnished with plenty of natural, free flowing light providing the perfect rural retreat for a family or group of friends. Outside there is a large front garden, bac

    Fully equipped kitchen including cooker, induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave
    Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer
    Dining room with ornamental wood burner and snug with Smart TV, books and games
    Two living rooms, one with a Smart TV and open fire

    Two double bedrooms with high quality Egyptian cotton linen and towels

The Farmhouse at Boundary Farm

This Farmhouse has an abundance of outdoor space and a small games room adjacent to the property. There is a long breakfast table, which easily accommodated 5 adults and 3 children and close by a tv, games & books for entertainment. Two separate lounges downstairs one has a tv (with Netflix) and the other lounge is for reading. There is a modern outdoor table and chairs perfect for having an evening meal. It is one of the most well equipped properties we have stayed in and has an EV charger (via the TAP app) attached to the house. Framlingham Castle (English Heritage) is a very short drive away and holds child activities throughout the day. There is a barbecue but this needs to be replaced. I took my own and was glad I did. We would all stay at the Farmhouse again as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Old Mill House pub (which is within walking distance) provided excellent hospitality for an evening meal with a play area outside for small children.

Comfortable clean and warm All beds were very comfortable with quality linensWell equipped kitchen apart from could do with a few more mugs and there were no suitable drinking glasses for fruit juice or gin and tonics minor niggle.
