"A+. Had a wonderful long weekend in Basel. The hotel is convenient to the tram and an easy 5 minute walk to the Rhine or 5 minute ride to Basel SBB. From the moment we arrived, we were happy. Am American traveler’s hotel - comfy beds, big towels, free bottlea of water, and ample room for living in the room! Highly recommend and would stay there again in a heartbeat! "

"I really enjoyed my stay at the Mercure. After a long drive it was so nice to have a swim in the pool and relax in the jacuzzi and sauna. The bed in my room was so comfy and the room itself was spacious and so quiet. I also loved the blinds to make the room completely dark. The hotel was really easy to find and luckily not far from the motorway so I didn’t have to navigate too far. I also ate in the restaurant and the food was really nice and the service was very good. I would definitely stay here again. "

"The room was spotless and very chic. Its small, so not a lot of room for big luggage. The location was perfect for traveling by train because it's one bus stop away from the train station. Down a few stairs and you're in the charming streets of Basel. I would stay here again! "
