I was on the second floor and the steps up were shallow, making it easy to take luggage up and down. The hotel is located across the street from grocery stores and the shops/restaurants are just down the main street, all within walking distance."

"The room was great being on the ground floor with easy access for disabled pensioner. Helpful staff. Warm room once heating kicked in. Parking excellent, just outside front door. Breakfast was supposed to be at Hotel Metropole but had finished serving at 8.40am so we missed out. Rooms could certainly do with an update, very 1970's vibe."
