Perfect Cotswolds stay
Causeway cottage ticked all the boxes for a perfect winter weekend break. Lovely lounge with wood fire and permanently warm well equipped kitchen with welcoming Aga. The location was perfect for walking and we enjoyed lunch at the pub that was 13 steps from the house. Wonderful weekend thank you for sharing your lovely home.

Causeway Cottage is a lovely cottage in a great location.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Causeway Cottage. The cottage was spotless, very comfortable and cosy. The kitchen had all the equipment you could need and all was good quality. The owners seem to have thought of everything that you could need whilst staying in the cottage. The location was excellent, from being able to walk across the road to the pub, walking to Minster Lovell Hall, visits to Burford, Blenheim Palace and Oxford. We will definitely be returning and recommend a stay at Causeway Cottage.

Causeway cottage
The property was lovely. It was very clean with thoughtful touches. The area was beautiful. The only downside was in trying to reach the cleaning team to see if we could get an early check in. This process took 4 or 5 emails and 2 calls where I left messages before I received a response. This was unfortunate as everything else about our stay was wonderful.

Beautiful Cotswolds Cottage
Causeway Cottage is an immaculate cottage located in a gorgeous village. The location could not have been better, a picture perfect village within the Oxfordshire Cotswolds. The cottage itself is gorgeous but the garden is spectacular. We had a sunny weekend where we enjoyed sitting the garden, going for walks, watching the cricket on the other side of the wall and enjoyed the pub opposite which served lovely food.
We really could not recommend this cottage more highly, one of the rare, large detached, period 3 bedroom cottages in the Cotswolds with parking and an incredible garden.

Comfortable house in a quiet location
Comfortable and roomy house in a quiet location but near enough to Witney and Burford to cater for shopping/eating out. Tastefully furnished to suit the property. We wished we could have made more use of the extensive garden, but it was Autumn and British weather precluded that. Beds were comfortable and the hot water never let us down. Overall, we were very comfortable and relaxed in the house - just what we needed.
The beautiful old pub a few metres across the road was useful on a couple of occasions but the atmosphere is a bit lacking and the prices are far from cheap (£17 for a large glass of English Chardonnay). Visited Jeremy Clarkson's emporium - worth the visit, but again prices were extortionate.

Lovely Cottage, Lovely Area
The Causeway Cottage was large, comfortable, and lovely. For 3 ladies, the 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms upstairs, one half-bath was a perfect arrangement. The garden was very nice, and will be beautiful when the Wisteria blooms in the summer. Our only problem was figuring out how to use the microwave. Instructions would have been very helpful.
The Causeway Cottage was large, comfortable, and lovely. For three ladies, three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms upstairs, one half-bath as we came in the door, was perfect. The garden was very nice, but we weren't able to enjoy it much because it was chilly during our stay. Our only problem was figuring out how to use the microwave. Instructions would have been very helpful. Everything else worked perfectly for us.

Causeway Cottage is amazing!
We LOVE Causeway Cottage! We loved it so much (stayed April 2023) we returned again this year!!
Yes, it has its quirks! Squeaky uneven floors and the drainage in the master bedroom shower is a bit slow but that is all part of the charm and character of this beautiful cottage. The country kitchen is gorgeous and the loungeroom (I think you may call it a reception room) is so comfortable and cosy. The gardens are beautifully maintained - brilliant for a game of croquet.
Value for money - we think it is excellent. It cost us less (per night) to stay in Causeway Cottage compared to the tiny hotel room we stayed in whilst visiting Amsterdam (we did stay in a nice canal).
Location: Little Minster Lovell, we think, is the prettiest village in the Cotswolds (but don't tell anyone because part of its charm - minimal tourists).

Long weekend trip
Causeway cottage was a lovely, comfortable and cosy cottage located in a beautiful village with a lovely pub just across the road.
The cottage was well equipped with all you need. The kitchen had great amenities and was fully equipped with all your cooking utensils and essentials. The arga was a nice treat.
The bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size and the beds were very comfortable.
The living area was comfortable and cozy and the log burner was amazing for them winter evenings.
Although we didn’t use the garden because it was winter it would be a lovely place to spend summer evenings.
The cottage was spotless and everything was very clean.
The cottage was in a great location for both local walks or a short drive to some of Cotswolds beauty spots. Burford was a 15 min drive away and a lovely place that visit. The garden centre is also well worth a visit!
I fully recommend staying at causeway cottage.
We enjoyed a great stay at Causeway Cottage. It was an extremely well equiped cottage and a delight to stay at. Everything went well. Welcoming treats were very appreciated. I would highly recommend this cottage.
Only negative issue was that the mattresses were somewhat saging.

Causeway Cottage Review
Our second time in this cottage. We love it very much.
Our only issues were the fire burnt the wood too fast. we couldn't seem to adjust the air flow. The ensuite bathroom is very creaky floor. Neither issue will stop us staying again.
