We had a wonderful weekend a beautiful spot ,a lovely barn the location was perfect for all the the places that we wanted to visit.Oxford a short drive away .We would highly recommend this property. ### 8/10 Good #### Lynda M. 25 Apr 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Good location for exploring the Cotswolds The property was clean and comfortable. Our dog loved the big garden to explore. The surrounding area is very quiet and peaceful, but a very short drive to Witney with plenty of places to eat and drink. The property needs a hoover and mop bucket for guests staying with dogs, this would have been very useful. ##### Lynda M. The annexe was nice and spacious and had everything we needed. We could find it easily and it was great that we could park the car just outside our place. Our dog also had a great time and we weren't too far away from the wonderful villages in the Cotswolds area. We had a great time here and were sorry we had to leave. ### 10/10 Excellent #### Judi S., Battle Ground 13 Oct 2022 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Great location for exploring the Cotswolds The house was very comfortable and nicely decorated. May be worth mentioning in the brief for the property. There was also the use of the field which was good for our dog to enjoy running around in. ##### Helen R. ### 8/10 Good #### Hazel J. 26 Feb 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Beautiful, quiet and comfortable spot It was lovely to wake up to the views and watch the big sky at night. The house was very comfortable and with everything one needed, it was also warm. James our contact and the management company were very quick to reply when I contacted them. I would definitely stay there again. ##### Hazel J. Idyllic location on a farm. Ideal for dogs due to large garden and field adjoining the property. Inside was tastefully decorated and well appointed with everything you need for your stay. Plenty of room for parking. You do get the occasional noise from planes at nearby RAF Brize Norton, but that didn't bother us. ##### Ian R. ### 10/10 Excellent #### Lisa B. 15 Sept 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Loved the Annexe Great place to stay. Me and the dog loved it. Very quiet (except being on the flight path of RAF Brize Norton). Loved the planes, so it didn't bother me, after the shock of the first one! Beautifully furnished, with an amazing garden and field beyond for the dog. Located close to visit the Cotswold Wildlife Park. Would highly recommend. ##### Lisa B. The Annex is gorgeous, very spacious and very cosy. It's in a very tucked away location yet close to amenities. Its surrounded by a few other beautiful properties but nonetheless very quiet. Only thing we picked up on was the dog hair on the bed throw and on the mat on the living room. All in all, a lovely place to stay and would definitely stay again! Stayed in better, for less money. ##### Diane G. The journey into Witney took about 5 minutes depending on traffic. As an aircraft enthusiast you are on the flight path for Brize Norton. This is our second visit and will definitely come again. ##### Nicholas B. This review comes from a trusted partner site and has not been verified. ### 10/10 Excellent 14 Mar 2024 #### A Pleasant stay We had a very enjoyable stay at the Annexe, which was very well fitted out and had good quality towels and bed linen. The kitchen was very well equipped and roomy. The location was good and was easy accessible to Witney. Brize Norton was close by so aircraft were fairly frequent but not too intrusive and we found them interesting to watch. The only slight problem was that the bed appeared to be narrower than what we are normally used to. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and we would certainly stay at the property again. This review comes from a trusted partner site and has not been verified. ### 8/10 Good #### Paul M. 3 Jul 2023 #### An enjoyable break. The Barn is lovely and roomy and everything was nice and clean. Well placed for many places to visit in the area. Pleasant gardens. Ignore your Satnav if it tells you to use the eastern 'arm' of Coursehill Lane to get there, use the northern 'arm' (sorry, can't think of a better way to explain it!). ##### Paul M. This review comes from a trusted partner site and has not been verified. ### 10/10 Excellent 22 Oct 2023 #### Coursehill Barn Annex Great rural location with good local facilities. The accommodation was clean, well maintained and offered all we required for our stay. For a one bedroom property the vaulted ceilings added to the spacious layout. The setting proved ideal for daily dog walks and an excellent base for exploring both the Cotswolds and other interesting locations. The flights into Brize Norton added to the ambiance without being intrusive. Overall my wife and I thought the Annex was an excellent find, we really enjoyed our stay assisted by good weather. This review comes from a trusted partner site and has not been verified. ### 8/10 Good #### Sally N. 3 Mar 2025 #### February short break in the Cotswolds We stayed at Coursehill Barn Annexe for 4 nights in February 2025. The location was convenient for visiting Oxford and the Cotswolds but the access road was quite potholed and bumpy. The what3words directions did not work and we were initially directed down the wrong road, fortunately we arrived during daylight otherwise it may have been quite tricky. The barn itself is very airy and warm with lovely views out onto the fields and countryside. We felt that the cleanliness could have been better, there were dirty pans, freezer and oven. The shower plug hole was also full of hair. It felt a little bit unloved, which is a shame as the fittings and furniture had obviously been of good quality. Although these might seem small issues it does impact on the general feel of a place. If the above issues are addressed I would recommend it to others. ##### Sally N. Absolutely perfect spot for us to stay whilst visiting our daughter who is based at RAF Brize Norton. We arrived around 8:30pm on a dark, damp evening not knowing what to expect, so the cosy beautiful Barn was a lovely welcome. Everything was where you would expect it to be and we had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Upon awakening the next day, the views out of the rear windows were beautiful and the access to local footpaths were ideal for a long, frosty walk with our Labrador, April. Facilities are great, nice shower, spacious rooms and easy to find and park right outside. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you. ##### Lynn H. This review comes from a trusted partner site and has not been verified. ### 10/10 Excellent 10 Aug 2024 #### Lovely spacious well equipped property A bit out of the way to find as our sat nav did not take us to the property as it is down an unmade road! It is a lovely spacious property, very well equipped with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and oven. We particularly liked the hallway entrance lobby with space for shoes, bags and dog leads. The remote controlled skylights were fabulous and very welcome in the hot weather, especially at night to get a cool breeze. From reading the other reviews about planes from Brize Norton we were pleasantly surprised how quiet it was during our weekend break. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay - as did our spaniel - who made good use of the dog friendly garden and paddock. This review comes from a trusted partner site and has not been verified. ### 8/10 Good #### Jane R. 27 Sept 2022 #### Spacious barn annexe This is a spacious barn annexe with lots of equipment and a comfortable bed. High shelves and a deep bath were a bit of a challenge for a short and mildly disabled person but the only significant problem I had was the close proximity to RAF Brize Norton. I was woken 2 nights out of 3 by planes going over in the middle of the night. Not a place for a light sleeper ##### Jane R. ## Expedia's Latest Trends ### Hotels > [DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel and Spa Chester](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Chester-Hotels-DoubleTree-By-Hilton-Hotel-And-Spa-Chester.h527788.Hotel-Information) > > [Redworth Hall Hotel](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Newton-Aycliffe-Hotels-Redworth-Hall-Hotel.h517266.Hotel-Information) > > [Lakes Hotel and Spa](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Windermere-Hotels-Lakes-Hotel-And-Spa.h901040.Hotel-Information) > > [Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Hook-Hotels-Four-Seasons-Hotel-Hampshire.h986107.Hotel-Information) > > [Hilton Garden Inn Silverstone](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Towcester-Hotels-Hilton-Garden-Inn-Silverstone.h48251404.Hotel-Information) > > [Hampton by Hilton Bristol Airport](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Bristol-Hotels-Hampton-By-Hilton-Bristol-Airport.h16543862.Hotel-Information) > > [De Vere Tortworth Court](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Bristol-Hotels-De-Vere-Tortworth-Court.h570412.Hotel-Information) > > [The Rose Revived - Chef & Brewer](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Witney-Hotels-The-Rose-Revived-By-Greene-King-Inns.h11899898.Hotel-Information) > > [The Churchill Court](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Witney-Hotels-THE-CHURCHILL-COURT.h11302366.Hotel-Information) > > [Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Chester-Hotels-Grosvenor-Pulford-Hotel-Spa.h790572.Hotel-Information) > > [Pine Lake Resort](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Carnforth-Hotels-Pine-Lake-Resort.h1928661.Hotel-Information) > > [The Windermere Hotel](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Windermere-Hotels-The-Windermere-Hotel.h13431161.Hotel-Information) > > [Harbour Hotel Christchurch](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Christchurch-Hotels-The-Christchurch-Harbour-Hotel-And-Spa.h18097.Hotel-Information) > > [De Vere Cotswold Water Park](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Cirencester-Hotels-De-Vere-Cotswold-Water-Park.h1770053.Hotel-Information) > > [De Vere Wokefield Estate](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Reading-Hotels-De-Vere-Wokefield-Estate.h1044123.Hotel-Information) > > [Dunston Hall Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Norwich-Hotels-Dunston-Hall.h519081.Hotel-Information) > > [Oulton Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Leeds-Hotels-Oulton-Hall-Hotel.h15948.Hotel-Information) > > [The Park Royal Hotel & Spa](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Warrington-Hotels-The-Park-Royal.h24462.Hotel-Information) > > [The Evenlode Hotel](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Witney-Hotels-The-Evenlode.h41258809.Hotel-Information) > > [DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham-Cotswolds](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Cheltenham-Hotels-Doubletree-By-Hilton-Cheltenham.h65899.Hotel-Information) > > [ibis budget Manchester Airport](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Manchester-Hotels-Ibis-Budget-Manchester-Airport.h75715089.Hotel-Information) > > [Old Swan](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Witney-Hotels-Old-Swan.h2301426.Hotel-Information) > > [The Harcourt Arms](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Witney-Hotels-The-Harcourt-Arms.h37959533.Hotel-Information) > > [Old Swan & Minster Mill Hotel](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Witney-Hotels-Minster-Mill.h33537363.Hotel-Information) > > [Royal Whitby](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Whitby-Hotels-The-Royal-Hotel.h57917040.Hotel-Information) > > [Last Drop Village Hotel and Spa](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Bolton-Hotels-Last-Drop-Village-Hotel-And-Spa.h9341.Hotel-Information) > > [Cave Hotel & Golf Resort](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Faversham-Hotels-Cave-Hotel-Golf-Resort.h33410673.Hotel-Information) > > [Radisson Hotel Manchester City Centre, A Verified Net Zero Hotel](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Manchester-Hotels-Park-Inn-By-Radisson-Manchester-City-Centre.h2601411.Hotel-Information) > > [Ufford Park Woodbridge Hotel, Golf & Spa](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Woodbridge-Hotels-Ufford-Park-Woodbridge-Hotel.h12685.Hotel-Information) > > [Cambridge Belfry Hotel & Spa](https://www.expedia.co.uk/Cambridge-Hotels-Cambridge-Belfry.h1103020.Hotel-Information)
