We only stayed the one night as we were passing through to visit family in Macclesfield. It was easy to get to and the surrounding scenery was stunning. Checkin was clear with reception and very informative. We had a queen size bed a kitchet with all amenities. There was a walk in shower and plenty of closets space. Very clean and tidy. The room was beautiful and very clean. The option of a little breakfast room where you could make your own breakfast was great and the staff were all lovely and helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at the Victoria hotel in Strathalbyn. All the staff we met went out of their way to help us. Our room was ideal for us with a light breakfast ( cereal, toast, orange juice tea, coffee etc) in the room & an excellent choice on the menu in the restuarant if we wanted a cooked breakfast. We wouldnt hesitate to stay there again if we were in the area.

Great value for money and fantastic location

This is a lovely hotel. The pre paid for breakfast is not worth the cost though nor is the buffet. Decide what you would like from the full menu & choose from that. The quality & choice is far better. There is nowhere apart from your room where you can get any peace & quiet. Music & chatter or gaming noises are everywhere. That is not to say this is not a good hotel because it is. The upper floors offer the best view of the river. Be clear to book the upper river facing rooms. The staff cannot...

Wasn’t sure what to expect when we turned up. Have to say it was top notch. The beds so comfy, the shower excellent. Staff were all really attentive and the food (we had breakfast and dinner) really fantastic (and multiple options). On top of that the bar, live music, sports bar and location to easily get the bus in to the city were all a wonderful experience Thank you

Brilliant staff, very nice motel, have been travelling for 4 weeks so far, and this was the best hotel out of the lot. Good location, quiet, very helpful and friendly staff. 11 out of 10
