"I really enjoyed my stay here and would have no hesitation in staying here again. The location is absolutely excellent - particularly for anyone interested in food and drink. The staff were lovely and the hotel was spotless. The only reason I don't give it a 10/10 is the lack of air conditioning in the rooms. This wouldn't bother me 99% of the time, but as luck would have it, we visited in the middle of a heat wave and it was a struggle. An electric fan was provided in the room but it unfortunately wasn't able to battle the 29 degree heat, it was quite a struggle. For probably 50 of the 52 weeks in the year however this hotel is an ideal base. I will be back."
