Absolutely beautiful place to stay! Stunningly renovated old victorian style house that is still classic yet modern! They did such a great job and you can tell how much work and love went into it! It was clean, spacious and so cozy! Left feeling relaxed and refreshed!

The August House is a gem ! The decor is fabulous and the rooms are well-appointed. The breakfast is lovely, easy parking. Lots of little special touches at this place; too many to list. This is my second stay and I will definitely come back again.

Very clean, modern and charming. I appreciated the small touches, including the Nespresso and the white noise machine. (If all the doors could be oiled it would make it even better as the quarters are pretty tightly packed so you hear everything)

I highly recommend the August house. Each room is unique, but they're all attractively and interestingly decorated. We stayed in room 3, which has a king size bed and a huge bathroom. I particularly liked that there are several quiet lounge areas where you can get coffee or tea and any additional cups or glasses you might need. The complimentary breakfast was fresh and wholesome. There's parking right out front and best of all, the staff is really dedicated to the comfort of the guests.

Lovely and unique. This inn was the most memorable experience of my short lived time in Windsor, NS. The staff were helpful and polite and even offered a recipe for their baked oatmeal which was to die for. The bed was so comfy I didn’t want to get up. They have plenty of free amenities and snacks. They even give you complementary bath salts for a warm bath in a spacious tub.

August house is a beautiful hotel. The common sitting areas were lovely as were the staff. The breakfast was a continental breakfast and was also excellent with yogurt and granola and baked goods made fresh by the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.
