As soon as you step inside you will love how cosy and welcoming it is. With a light an airy open plan living area and windows looking out over the lake and fells, along with a fantastic outside terrace – can you imagine being anyway else? High View Lodge is in a truly stunning location and a delightful place to enjoy a few days away.. OPEN PLAN LIVING AND KITCHEN Two 2 seater fabric sofas Glass dining table with four chairs Patio doors leading out to wooden terrace Wall mounted TV Electric feature fire Well equipped kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster MASTER BEDROOM (with ensuite WC and basin) Double bed Wall mounted TV Wardrobe and cupboards above bed Bedside tables Patio doors open onto wooden terrace SECOND BEDROOM (small double) Small double (suitable for young children or a single person) Wardrobe and cupboards above bed Shower room (small) Shower cubicle Small basin and corner loo INCLUDED FOR YOUR STAY... All gas and electricity used A fully equipped kitchen with crockery, cutlery and utensils Hairdryer Bedding and towels for use in lodge Starter pack with toilet roll, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablet (where applicable) THINGS TO NOTE... Arrival is from 4pm. Departure by 10am. Hot Tub to be used between 10am and 10pm only High View is accessed by 4 steps. All the deck is one level Please bring own towels for use of hot tub Travel cot and highchair are available to rent on request for an additional £10 per item (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided) Please be aware that a travel cot will only fit in the living area. There is not enough space in the bedrooms. Hen and Stag parties are not permitted at this lodge or on the Park A security deposit is required at this property for all single sex groups under the age of 25 and for a group booking of 3 or more under the age of 21 High View has a small second bedroom and is only really suitable for young children, or a single person. Complimentary WiFi is provided by the park and subject to fair usage guidelines. The view alone would bring us back. The lodge itself was really comfortable, homely and spotless. It was stocked with plates, mugs, cups, cutlery and everything you need to cook. The Holiday park which it’s situated on was brilliant too, we thought as we were staying when the schools went back that there wouldn’t be any entertainment in the evening but there was something different every night which was great! The location of our lodge gave us a good view of the lake and was adjacent to one where my daughter and her family were staying. The lodge itself was rather smaller than the impression given by the on-line pictures. Also the TV in the bedroom didn’t work and one of the settees was rather rickety. The main issue was with locking the doors as it was very difficult to lock them and we had to get our son-in-law to do it for us. I would definitely stay at White Cross Bay again as it is u a magnificent location but not in this lodge. ##### Rodney H. We booked with a special offer so was a reasonable price for school holidays. The lodge is in a lovely area of the park near to the lake. The lodge is nice, but is compact compared to others - I would describe more as a big static caravan. Stayed with my husband and 2 sons aged 8 & 11\. We dropped on with gorgeous weather so were outside a lot, but would have been a bit cramped if we were inside a lot in worse weather. The hot tub was gorgeous and had a lovely lake view. Recommend this lodge, but more for a couple or small / young family. ##### Jennifer M. From a partner site ### 10/10 Excellent 14 Jul 2023 #### Lovely stay at High View lodge We enjoyed our stay at High View lodge very much. The lodge was lovely and "cosy" great for maybe two adults and two small children, or three adults but no more. It was lovely and clean!! (I am fussy) It is positioned in a great little spot on the park, with a wonderful view of the lake. An added bonus too was having a hot tub which was great! The lodge is also well positioned to easily get about and explore the Lakes. If you do not want to take the car, then there is a bus stop outside the park, with frequent buses. The one thing I would suggest is maybe the lodge could do with a welcome pack,. When we have stayed at other places, we have always found these to be extremely helpful especially if you do not know the area.
