This was our 4th visit and we plan to return again, which says it all. Rustic Cottage provides a perfect base for exploring the lakes. The accommodation is small but quiet, spotlessly clean, comfortable and cozy with the added bonus of the secure garden for the dogs. A two minute walk into Bowness gives you access to all the amenities. The owner, caretaker and team are all exceptionally friendly and helpful. Beautiful authentic old world cottage. In an excellent location for exploring and enjoying the local amenities. Only downside was the furniture was a little uncomfortable couches could do with replacing. The tv could also do with an update we were unable to get the remote to work as instructions on the buttons all worn off.
