Perfect for couples and families of small children. A little cosy but fine for our family. You can walk to shops, restaurants, the lake plus Bowness-on-Windermere. The location made it for us. The host checked in on us at the beginning and end which was perfect. We needed £12 for the week in the electricity meter, but we used the washing machine and tumble dryer twice, and the oven almost every night. Don’t forget your towels and linen.
