Good car park though i would suggest getting there via Quarry Brow Road off the A592 as following directions given is quite a tight squeeze for larger cars such as mine; many of the parking spaces are allocated to a particular apartment, none for Strawberries and Cream, but the car park was large enough to accomodate everyone. Lovely views out of the bedrooms into Bowness, great view out the back to the lake. Beds and living area was a relaxing place to be with a decent sized kitchen. Good selection of DVDs and games but we bought our own so didnt end up using them. Would suggest maybe an extra towell or two as for a family of 4 with two pre teens and hot weather, we almost ran out. Also, only 1 toilet roll and no dishwasher tabs provided. Only other issue is that cleaning could be improved, but solved this with a decent hoover when we first arrived. No broadband at time of visit, but this wasnt a massive issue either. Owners/contacts very responsive to phone calls/text queries. Great people to deal with. Very happy overall. Strawberries and Cream - flat above shops was small and a little tired. (Tourist information book was dated 2016) Bathroom blind was very dirty and did not work.
