"The stairs up to our room seemed like they could use a little reinforcing/updating. However, the stairway was well lighted and easily navigable. We did find a previously opened bottle of water in our refrigerator, likely from a prior guest. The room was clean and comfortable, but could use additional electrical outlets near the bed for CPAP users."

"This house was so beautiful inside and out. The owners stayed in contact and made sure we had everything we needed. The kids loved all the wildlife and the outside cats. We will definitely be contacting them again for our next visit"

"This property was exactly as listed. It was very comfortable and cozy. Everything was super clean. The owner was also available if needed. The location was very good, and there was a cafe which served breakfast and lunch with a very welcoming staff. We would definitely stay here again if in the area."

"Beautiful, clean, cozy and relaxing place. Convenient to Grayson Highlands State Park. No outside lights around so it's great for star gazing. Great experience!"

"Nice sized lodge for family gathering. Plenty of room, great sitting area on front porch. Nicely planted flower beds around lodge, attracted hummingbirds and butterflies. Only the most basic amenities provided. I definitely would recommend using a 4-wheel drive to access the property. Any vehicle low to the ground could bottom out."

Great spot for travelers that need a place to rest

"Our stay was brief but good! This is a great safe, quiet, and dog friendly spot to rest while traveling. It’s an older motel with no amenities (a good place to just sleep and shower). The buildings have seen better days but despite that the room and property was very clean. Service was wonderful and check in went smoothly even with it being late at night and a last minute booking. There were plenty of places for our dogs to walk. Access to rooms are from the outside which was convenient. The free breakfast is limited but everything tasted good. There was plenty of space to sit and eat or your room is a quick walk to eat there. The automatic pancake maker it’s great for entertaining little ones (with supervision of course) and they tasted great!"
