Upon arrival there was a letter on the door from the local public utility indicating that the home would have a water outage during our stay then a boil advisory whenever water service resumed, due to scheduled water line repair the next day. That means no water for flushing toilets and bathing and no water to drink, brush teeth, cook. This was not disclosed to us prior to checkin. I notified host that we would only stay one night annd asked for refund for the remainder of our stay, as the home is not habitable without water service. Host said they could not refund and instructed me to call VRBO customer service.We checked out of property after one night, notified host, and sent copy of water outage notice to them. The host then claimed to VRBO that the water outage was a “non-issue” because they offered to bring drinking water (which provided no resolution to toilets and bathing). ##### Kimberly S.
