Lovely home, very clean and welcoming. Beautiful area of Wilmington and great walking to riverfront. Host was lovely too, very responsive and friendly. Hope to stay again soon!
This house was perfect for us. Close to the riverwalk, good food. Very clean and had everything we needed. It was a plus that they provided beach towels too!
Fantastic home in a safe area. Family enjoyed: Walking to the local spots. Riding our bikes to new places. Coffee on the great front porch. Wine on the screened in back sunroom. No complaints!
My partner and I had a wonderful stay in this lovely, historic home. The neighborhood was quiet yet close to the Riverwalk and felt very safe. I wholeheartedly recommend this property! Thank you.

Great house in a great location
The house is very cute, well appointed, super clean and in a fabulous historic district location. We had a couple of communication hiccups, but overall a good visit.
Property was several blocks from river walk on a beautiful street. Also able to walk to/around greenfield lake. Enjoyed by my adult daughters and would recommend highly.
Great location in quiet, safe neighborhood that’s walkable to downtown. Everything in house is in working order and clean. Thoughtful owners with nice amenities.
We stayed at the house as our daughter’s wedding reception was at the Little Drum Landing on the River Walk. This is a beautiful home. It was nice to sit and relax on the front porch. The neighborhood is very safe and we enjoyed the short walk to the river front. Would highly recommend this house.
We would love to stay here again. The house was extremely clean. The location was ideal. It’s in a great neighborhood, near Front Street, and close to many good restaurants. The hosts were responsive and helpful. Our family of four were grateful for the three nice bedrooms, laundry, and a stocked kitchen. What a great place!
My family stayed over Thanksgiving while in town for a basketball tournament. The house is in a great neighbor and we enjoyed being able to walk into town and to the River Walk. We had everything we needed for our small Thanksgiving dinner and relaxing time with family. Thanks for sharing your home with us!
This was one of the best VRBO homes we've ever stayed in as a family. The house was immaculately cleaned with a very warm decor that made us feel at home quickly. The location of the house in Historic Wilmington was perfect for walking downtown for restaurants, bars and other things to do. We also found it very easy to get to and from Wrightsville Beach. The addition of a beach umbrella and a couple chairs was a lovely bonus. The screened in porch in the back was one of my favorite spots. Sitting out there one morning I was visited by a very colorful friend (see pic)Karen was very responsive and communicative throughout the duration of our stay. Would highly recommend and will likely stay here again as our son will be attending UNCW next fall!
This home is a complete gem, nestled in a quiet neighborhood near everything you would want to do in downtown Wilmington. 4 blocks from the waterfront, and within walking distance of several coffee shops, restaurants, and attractions. We loved having quiet gatherings on the front porch. The house is tastefully decorated, and provided everything we needed for our family gathering. Loved this house!
This house is beautiful- seems to have been renovated and/or recently redecorated. Everything was in perfect working order, plenty of towels and paper supplies. We were visiting with my 87 yo mother so weren’t able to do a lot of walking but for a younger group this house is located in a quiet neighborhood but a very comfortable walking distance to the downtown area. We would absolutely stay here again when visiting Wilmington.
It actually looked like the pictures. We had plenty of space, it was the perfect size for the 4 of us adults to relax. The location was convenient to everything we wanted to do. Neighborhood was quiet and charming. Property manager, Karen was caring and helpful! It was a comfortable pleasure to stay here. I would recommend this home! However I would also recommend stocking the kitchen with a few items like foil and ziplock bags, cleaning the ice machine occasionally and fixing the latch on the dishwasher. There will always be little glitches… Thanks for a great stay!
Place had great decor”my style”. Location good, quiet and walking distance to cape fear river. We never used the oven but someone used the self clean and didn’t wipe it out, doesn’t look clean with all the white sediment and oven door handles as dirty. Overall remains 5 stars
Quiet, charming, quite clean and roomy home! Very good quality finishes (I'm a former trim carpenter) and work inside. A couple of trains in the middle of the night, but otherwise amazingly quiet and comfortable! We were greeted by a neighborhood cat and entertained by the squirrels while there..! Parking wasn't bad, only had to park down the street once. Had a little mixup with check in initially but was straightened out promptly, no issues. We had a terrific visit and this home made it all the more special!
My wife & I live in VT, but our son and daughter live in NC. We wanted to spend more time with our kids and be somewhere warmer than VT during the month of January. This was our 1st visit to Wilmington. The house is charming, well equipped (e.g. kitchen utensils), and exactly as described in the listing, located on a cobble stone street in the Historic District, and a short 10 - 15 minute walk to many restaurants, breweries, and the river walk. My only regret is that we didn't stay for an extra week, because the weather in VT when we returned was cold and snowy while Wilmington was close to 70 degrees!
Being from Hawaii, I live a really long way from Wilmington, which is my mother‘s birthplace. I came here 25 years after she passed away to meet second cousins and their children for the first time. I chose this beautiful house purposely in the historic district and large enough that I could have one or two friends over at a time from various parts of my life: college, graduate school, and the U.S. Army. All of them loved the house as much as I did and we were extremely comfortable. The location was perfect for walking down to the river and eating at so many wonderful restaurants.
