The property was in a good location. It was a place to sleep when I was in a pinch, but the lady at the front desk seemed to be annoyed that I was checking in late in the evening, the room was very dated and needed a good deep cleaning, stains on the floor, bugs trapped in the light. The bed was comfortable. There were very loud guest at all hours, which was hard to sleep.

Staff was very kind, we did arrive 2 hours prior to check in and asked for early check in. She told us no but to come back at 2:30, there was one vehicle on the parking lot so a bit confused why we couldn’t but it was ok. The same girl told us breakfast started at 6 so we got up and ready and headed down for breakfast only to be told SORRY we don’t do breakfast till 7. Any hotel I ever stayed at serves breakfast from 6-9 or so.

It took the front desk staff three tries to place me in a room that did not smell terribly of mold, have flashing lights, and climate control that worked properly. The pool is not functional, there is mold in the bathroom, the bottom of the tub was scared from something abrasive that chipped off the enamel, and the carpets in the stairwells and hallways is horribly stained and worn. There was no discount offered. The only offer was to check out early when presented with substandard conditions.

For this occasion and what I needed the location and the breakfast was probably the best thing about my stay. Food places and a target was walking distance. The hotel need some upgrades. The room smelled musty, and the pillows smelled like someone sweat all over them and they were not replaced or cleaned. Please replace those pillows and get rid of the carpet in the room.

It was so much better than I had expected,it was clean and very comfortable. I made a mistake when I originally booked my room and the staff was understanding and helped correct the problem for me immediately. The day that I was supposed to leave, my vehicle wouldn't start and since it was a holiday weekend, I had difficulty getting it towed to a localbody shop to get it fixed. The manager was more than accommodating and thankfully gave me more than enough time to get my vehicle towed to the repair shop without having to worry about him having it towed or getting a ticket. I enjoyed my time at the country inn and suites and i would recommend it to anyone who wanted to enjoy great accommodations, a great atmosphere and a very kind and understanding hotel staff.
