  • Welcome to the lake! This property offers plenty of peaceful views, fishing, swimming, boating, kayaking and centrally located to the Ark, Creation Museum and plenty of restaurants and shops.

    Our property has Kid and Adult Kayaks, Lake floats and life vests available for use.

    Easy parking to the front door, and poured concrete steps down to the dock/lake.

    The dock has plenty of room to tie off a boat and has a 25 x 12 foot covered bar area with hi-speed WiFi and smart TV.

    Williamstown lake also has a full service marina with a great restaurant, live entertainment and pontoon rentals.

This place was amazing! Such a cute, quiet hidden gem and perfect for our family. The property and house were very clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The AC kept us nice and cool, even on the warmer days.The fishing was great, and we had an incredible time kayaking and playing in the water. There were plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy, and even when it rained, we could still relax outside and take in the beautiful views.The host was wonderful and communicated with us throughout our stay, making everything easy and stress-free. It was also incredibly family-friendly, which made our trip even more enjoyable.We made wonderful memories here, highly recommend it, and would absolutely love to come back!

The host was available and responsive before, during and after our stay. Accommodating, welcoming and a kind host. We were looking for a calm and peaceful place and we found it here. Comfy and clean cabin with a great covered deck that we enjoyed. Wildlife visited us daily.

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay while visiting the Ark Encounter & Creation Museum. Our host was awesome in communication. Getting to paddle on the lake was a highlight.

Great property

My family and I really enjoyed joyed staying at Donny’s property. It was well kept and clean on the inside and being able to walk down to the lake was awesome. I highly recommend this property.

Can't wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great for going to the Ark and Creation Museum. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Kids really enjoyed the lake -fishing, swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. It was nice to have access to kayaks, floaties, paddle board, etc. If your looking for a relaxing vacation on the lake, we highly recommend this lake rental!

Small space with large living

Beautiful location, quiet and peaceful. Space is very small but lives well, the patio and dock are great. Master bed is a little firm so plan accordingly. If you have a long vehicle backing down the very steep driveway is recommended.

Perfect Stay

We came to the area for the Ark Encounter and found this place on the lake. Perfect place to stay. The house and dock and everything about it was either new or very well taken care of. Loved the use of the paddle boards and kayaks. Had a great time fishing and relaxing. The lake area was beautiful. Will recommend to friends.

Even Better Than Advertised

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean and cozy and the dock setup is amazing. Our kids really enjoyed swimming off the dock and having fun with the kayaks and paddle board. My wife and enjoyed hanging out and eating meals with the family under the large covered deck that looks out onto the lake. The property owner was very helpful and responsive.

Peaceful Place to Stay

My husband and I stayed at this cabin while visiting The Ark and other attractions in the area. It was perfect for us in every way. Very quiet with a beautiful view of the lake. The cabin was very clean upon arrival. Although we did not do much cooking, it appeared all cooking utensils were provided. Donny was a wonderful host and checked with us every day to see if we needed something. This place is a 👍

Home Away From Home

We loved our time at Paradise Cove! The cabin is quaint & cozy with everything you need. After exploring all the area attractions each day, we had family time around the fire pit to make s’mores & memories. Donny (host) was fantastic to work with, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Paradise Cove is their personal home & you can tell they love it. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, I’m reaching out to Donny to secure our dates! Stay here - you won’t be disappointed!

We appreciated Donny's quick replies to all questions we had & his willingness to share kayaks, etc. & texts of fish that were the "catch of the day" by other guests. The location was ideal to be able to get to the Ark Encounter & then get back to the fun activities at the lake (side note - driveway is very steep). Even though we only stayed a day & a half, my family enjoyed hours fishing (both day & night); listening to the sounds of nature around the lake; & watching the boats out on the main part of the lake. Donny is accurate with the amenities description on the site, but I had overlooked the cottage not having a washer/dryer on site. We were on a long road trip & had been planning on doing laundry at the different properties we stayed at. Most of the other properties we had looked at had them, so I had honestly quit looking specifically for that amenity. We made it work as our KY part of the trip was our 2nd to last stop; just something to consider if that amenity is a "deal breaker" for you (especially if you plan on doing lots of water activities & want to do laundry). I kept the 5/5 as it was not listed & it was my error for not noticing it was not available. Another "feature"/highlight not listed, but that was a wonderful surprise & certainly added to the value of this location (IMO) was being able to see both the sunrise (looking out to the lake from the dock) and the sunset (looking the opposite way from the dock) - lots of photo-ops :)

First I would like to say what a great host Donny is and thank him for sharing his home with us. Usually I'M a beach girl so I was little nervous about a lake house, but I do believe this is my new favorite spot. The view is great. Being on the lake with the dock and everything with it is all we needed to relax, swim and fish. This was a fun relaxing slow down time we all needed. (No phones except talking pictures.) We Definitely would recommend staying here with Donny being your host. Thanks again for sharing your home and being a great host.
