Pros of Genetti hotel: free parking in their lot King size bed was comfortable Didn't cook in the kitchen area but if we did it had all pots, silverware, dishes, stove, soap etc... Walking distance to restaurants and stores Large room Cons: The toilet bowl was stained black Low water pressure when flushing toilet. We had to flush at least 3 times. Heat pump kept turning on and off all night making a noise to wake us up

This is an old-line in-town hotel with a lot of charm, an excellent restaurant, and outstanding breakfast. It is clean, comfortable, and the shower is hot with good pressure. Very reasonable rates, to boot.

Grande Dame historic hotel undergoing renovation. Remains serviceable in the meantime. Breakfast was good, price was good, convenient downtown location. Free parking. Preferred this to the humanless City Hall Grand a couple blocks away.

The Staff were Great. The Hotel is a Historic Building and is being renovated to bring it back to its original glory from 100 years ago. We didn’t find any issues with our stay and the work taking place at all and look forward to seeing the transformation when completed. Breakfast that is provided was enjoyable and had a number of options for everyone. Anybody saying otherwise just can’t be pleased. The Free parking is a plus as well. We would definitely stay again in the future..!

Although the hotel was under renovations, it still was well maintained except for the fitness room. The only thing in the fitness room that worked was the cross country skiing Nordic equipment.

The room was clean..but I wasn't told that it wasn't in the hotel..it was along the pool and like a motel room ..Motels creep me out..it took 45 minutes to get a parking spot ..we had to walk 2 city blocks away totally off the property..but once you had free breakfast..all was forgiven..we stayed there several times and never had anything less than perfext..we willbe back

They made sure the room had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable. The staff is so incredibly helpful. And the breakfast is an excellent addition to your stay and everything was delicious. Something for everyone. They provide plenty of parking at the hotel. It's fun to check out the "downtown" area which is within walking distance. This is the only place I stay when I come to Williamsport. My kind of place hands down. Thank you.

If you’re staying here it’s not because you want a new fancy room. It’s for the experience. And it is a good one. However you must be willing to look past new world amenities not available. Great staff. Friendly. Professional. Fantastic building, although in the middle of a much needed renovation. 1940s Otis elevators are an added bonus for elevator enthusiasts. Room was ok. Unknown stain on left side of bed, Small 1940s style toilet and tub. You can park and walk to the event center next door and many great local businesses. After event at theatre next door, kitchen closed at the same time the event ended. A disappointment to hotel guests hoping for food after the show. Took a booth in the bar anyways. Greeter was kind and said our server would be there soon but waitress never appeared to take our drink order. Bar guests sitting at the bar were helped, but sadly not us. After 15 minutes we exited disappointed with nothing to show. No food, no drink. I think this is a great hotel and staying here was cool. But you have to be sure of what you’re getting. If the mgmt staff could just go the last mile, you could look past the other shortcomings. Focus more on guest experience in your restaurant. Breakfast was Ok at best. Not living up to the billboard entering town. Again the foundation is there. It just takes that one little push on the details. 6/10 total experience.

Bad experience, arrived at 11pm after a long day of traveling and when I got there I had to stand in front of the desk for over 8 minutes waiting until get service and when I reserve my room wish was one room doble bed , and I got my room and when upstairs to my room to just find one small bed was very disappointed and I was tired so we stayed in that room until next morning I went and tell them about it. But they couldn't get what I reserve so I left.

Building smells an " old" smell to it , poorly maintained public areas. The bathtub was dirty . The building is under construction, but everything smells old and poorly kept. No front desk staff available when I checked out. There was a line of customers waiting for front desk staff to show up . Breakfast is the best part of this hotel. Good quality food and waitresses were very nice. This place will probably look great after renovation but right now, room was ok but public areas were not clean and had unpleasant smell.
