Our spacious dome sits on 30 private acres of wilderness just 30 minutes from the South Rim entrance of Grand Canyon National Park. With floor-to-ceiling viewing windows, guests enjoy endless sky views by day and world-class stargazing by night. Step inside your Dome and you’ll find a cozy, light-filled retreat designed with comfort and Southwest charm. The centrepiece is a queen-size bed dressed in soft linens and a patterned blanket, framed by warm wooden floors and natural textures. A pair of armchairs and side tables create a relaxed sitting area, while floor-to-ceiling curtains open to reveal panoramic views and soft natural light. Thoughtful details like a cowhide rug, woven accents, and rustic furniture complete the space, blending modern comfort with desert-inspired style Outside your dome: \- Private fire ring (with complimentary firewood) \- Shared outdoor safari-style shower (unavailable during the winter months of December–February) \- Shared safari dining tent \- Guided hiking and Grand Canyon tours available Winter Shower Notice: Please be aware that the on-site showers will be unavailable during the winter months (December–February) due to freezing temperatures in the Arizona desert. A clean and well-maintained shared restroom will still be available for guest use. Unlike crowded hotels or campgrounds, our dome offers true seclusion, boutique amenities, and authentic Southwest atmosphere—all within easy reach of Williams, Tusayan, and Grand Canyon National Park. Whether you’re here for a romantic getaway, bucket-list adventure, or peaceful retreat, our dome stay delivers the perfect blend of glamping luxury and wilderness escape. Getting Here: Our property is just 30 minutes from the South Rim entrance of Grand Canyon National Park. \- By Car: From I-40, take State Road 64 North toward the Grand Canyon. At mile marker 219, turn right on Woodland Ranch Rd. Drive 3 miles, then turn left on Horizon Star Rd. After 1/4 mile, turn left into our driveway. \- Road Conditions: Our property sits on 30 acres of peaceful, off-grid desert landscape, which means the final stretch to reach us includes unpaved ranch roads. These roads are typical for rural Northern Arizona, mostly packed dirt and gravel with some naturally uneven sections. To ensure a smooth arrival: Any standard vehicle can reach the property in normal weather. Guests arrive in sedans, compact cars, and SUVs every week. You do not need a 4x4. Drive slowly and take your time on the last 3–4 miles. The road is bumpy in spots due to the natural terrain, but going around 10 mph makes it very manageable. Weather note: After heavy rain or winter storms, the road may be softer in some areas. Most guests describe the drive as “part of the adventure” and love how the remote setting adds to the experience once they arrive. \- On Arrival: Continue along the gravel road another 1/4 mile until you reach two shipping containers.
