Newly remodeled cottage set back from the water with lake views and a private backyard. The perfect spot to kick back, relax and enjoy the serenity of nature.

Bedrooms located upstairs with half bath. 1 full bed in private room, 1 trundle bed in private room, and 1 bunk bed in common area.
Equipped with a full kitchen with microwave, electric stove/oven, refrigerator, coffee pot, and fully stocked w/ pots, pans, dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, and other kitchen tools. House has WiFi, large flat screen TV w/ DVD player and a variety of DVDs as well as a for stock where you can access your favorite apps and shows. Netflix account access available.
Electric baseboard heat for the chilly fall/winter nights and window air conditioning to stay cool on those hot summer days. Washer and dryer located on site.
Cottage features a heated enclosed front porch with lake view including chairs for relaxing and two hammock swings.
The foliage-filled backyard hosts a picnic table, patio table with an umbrella and additional cushioned seating . Plenty of space to make yourself comfortable.
Gas grill available on patio.
A firepit is available just a few steps back with a bundle of firewood included with every rental.
This lake house has all the amenities of home with modern and simple decor, sitting at the end of a quiet road, just a stones throw from the lake. Low traffic location perfect for peaceful strolls.
Immerse yourself in nature on the "boardwalk" walking trail with a shoreline fishing spot; located right outside the front door.
Property is just minutes away from I-81 and I-80 giving quick access to all nearby attractions such as skiing, casinos, state and local parks, arenas, amusement parks, and concert venues.
Parking available for 3 vehicles or two vehicles and a trailer.
2 single kayaks, 2 paddleboards and 4 floats are available for use by guests from April 1-October 15th.
(Renters are responsible for full cost of equipment if lost, damaged, or stolen)
Guests are welcome to bring their own motor boat.
State boat launch is located less 1/4 mile from property.

We LOVE The Crab Shack!!!
The Crab Shack at Lake Nuangola is everything you would imagine a lake house to be. The house is spotless, the beds are all very comfortable and Brianne responded quickly when I had questions. When we go back to visit family, I hope The Crab Shack will be available. We loved our stay!!!!

Great spot for relaxing
This house is located on a quiet street. While it's not lakefront, the lake is still visible and there's a trail that allows you to walk along a stretch of it. The house itself is just very comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. Brianne was very responsive to my inquiry. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking fir a peaceful place to escape for a few days!

Family get together
We grew up in this neighborhood. It was wonderful to walk around the lake and the boardwalk. The house was beautifully remodeled and tastefully decorated. Everything was there and we needed nothing. Brianne replied immediately to any questions we had. A/C and heat worked fine with new mini splits. It was peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely recommend.

Awesome Vacation
The whole family agreed that this was the best VRBO rental we ever stayed in. It was clean, adorable, peaceful and relaxing. It was even cuter than the picture. Gorgeous, well equipped kitchen. We couldn't find the blender, and the host had one delivered within 24 hours. Beds were comfortable. Backyard was also well equipped and very tranquil. Beautiful nature setting, yet only about 15 minutes from conveniences like groceries and restaurants. Our hosts had kayaks and paddleboards, as well as a helpful information packet. We used the recommended lake access road and enjoyed afternoons on the beautiful lake. We can't wait to stay again!

It was perfect for the 2 of us. It was comfortable inside and nice views outside. We appreciated all the available supplies like the puzzles and games, dishwasher tabs and laundry pods, as well as the crockpot. Everything was clean and the kitchen and bathrooms had been nicely remodeled.

Relaxing stay at Lake Nuangola
We had such a relaxing Thanksgiving at this lovely cottage. Beautifully decorated, clean, and well appointed. Everything we needed was at the house, but so many stores just a short drive away. Short distance to restaurants, breweries, hiking, and shopping. Amazing stay!

We had a lovely time! The house was just as pictured, very comfortable for three of us and all we needed for a short weekend getaway. We used the kayaks, which was super fun. Brianne left clear instructions and helpful tips for things to do/where to eat in the area. I’d definitely go back!

Couples Getaway!
My husband and I took a trip to this beautiful cottage for a little birthday getaway. We enjoyed every moment of our visit to the cottage and felt right at home. Everything was very clean and cozy. We especially enjoyed the cute campfire in the back yard. We enjoyed sitting next to a toasty fire after a long day of exploring. We also loved the nature walk by the lake. We highly recommend this cottage to couples or families looking for a cute place to stay!
