"The Good: Allowed early check in for no extra charge. Room, even a standard room, was a good size and included a fridge and coffeemaker. The hotel was clean with the caveat of having to ask for cleaning services on multi night stays. The “meh”: in a commercial/semi industry area. Had some local “characters” outside the hotel at night. The coffee maker leaked. You have to ask to get your room cleaned a day before on a multi night stay for “environmental reasons”. When we asked the first time, it wasn’t done the next day. Had to ask again for the next day. Hotel seems understaffed with often only one staff member looking after the check in counter AND the bar and restaurant. "

"We were traveling for two weeks This was one of our stops for two days The place was wonderful I do have to say that it was an inconvenience for the stay not to have essential items like towels dish soap not even salt and pepper I understand people like to camp and bring all their essentials We were not camping and we had to travel as light as possible I wouldn’t mind paying for this items when I booked the stay Maybe having a list of essentials to add to our booking and pay before we get there and make sure we have towels to take a shower after a long drive "

"The property is a very pretty house in lovely surroundings just on the outskirts of Voorthuizen, a delightful village with lots of shops, restaurants and a good-sized supermarket.Check-in was very straightforward with a key box, the code for which was messaged to us a couple of days prior to arrival.The rooms are all very comfortable and well-furnished, and there is just about everything you could need in the kitchen. The only thing that we missed as far as kitchen facilities were concerned was a freezer. It would have been nice, with such warm weather, to have been able to have ice for drinks and ice cream, but this was a minor inconvenience and didn’t spoil our enjoyment of the property at all.Although we didn’t get to meet our host, Michiel, we did have to contact him a couple of times regarding issues that arose and he was very responsive and helpful, resulting in the issues being resolved very quickly.All in all a very enjoyable experience."

"Insgesamt hat es uns gut gefallen. Man muss aber sagen, dass das Häuschen im Vergleich zu den Bildern im Inserat gealtert ist. Manche Fliegengitter bleiben nicht zu, die Feststellung für das Fenster im Kinderzimmer funktioniert nicht, Wasserflecken an einigen Wänden, die Terrasse hat eine gebrochene Diele, notdürftig geflickt ist.Dennoch, mit ein bisschen Liebe und Arbeit ist das denke ich sehr schnell wieder ein schönes Ferienhäuschen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen. Es gibt auch viele schöne Seiten. Der Garten ist hübsch gestaltet, es gibt eine Grill, eine Feuerstelle und einen Holzofen innen. Das Sofa ist sehr gemütlich und die das bad gepflegt. Wir würden wieder hinfahren, finden aber, dass das Haus die erwähnte liebe in Form einer Renovierung sicher bald nötig hat. "
