"We had a lovely time at Learig and in Maidens. Lovely cottage and garden plus great hosts who were happy to help plus give us space to do what we wanted. Lovely area to explore with Turnberry and beaches, then Culzean Castle and Park the other side, then Dunure Castle a little further up the coast. A quiet area with nice places to eat such as Wildings and Souters. We would certainly have no hesitation in going back when some of more of the sites open up, but ideal for a place to escape the chaos...
