"Great experience. Traveling with my husband to visit the area and do hikes. Nice location and cozy cute cabins! Owner is super helpful and kind. Minor hiccup at check-in due to booking through Expedia - Expedia doesn't share any info with the owner of the property and the email for my self check-in wasn't sent. I called the owner and he called right back after a few minutes and was able to give me all the instructions I needed. He even gave me some hiking recommendations. Later, the water wasn't getting hot in our cabin. I texted the owner and he came to check things out right away. He informed us that sadly, the water heater was going to need repairs. He upgraded us to another cabin that was actually bigger and very nice - the one we were in was also so cozy and lovely. Thankfully, our stay was uneventful (in the best way) from there on out! Cabins are very clean, cozy and have everything you need to cook food if you choose! Not far away from nice hikes in Winona or Alma. Oh and it's near the water too with a dock if you're into that. 😁 Owner is extremely kind, accommodating and hospitable. Highly recommend."

"Seamless check-in and communication with the host was excellent. Great kitchen extra's, very clean and lots of room to move around. Extra room in the bathroom and bedrooms perfect for someone with a walker. Comfortable couch, extra pillows in the bedrooms and decorated beautifully. Will stay again if we are are in the area."

"Great location. Close to the park, bars, restaurants, and a gas station. World class trout fishing within minutes. Covered deck is a game changer on a rainy afternoon. We will be back every year! "

"This property had such nice extra touches! Linens and bedding were just excellent with such thoughtful kitchen appliances and tools. Cooking was easy and the Cafe nearby was super convenient. Our stay was so comfortable and cozy that we can’t wait to return. Our hosts were super responsive too. Give Hattie’s Place a try next time you’re in the Winona area. "

"Booked this as a last minute mini spring break vacation and absolutely loved it. Will visit again. Cabin was adorable, clean and very well kept. Hammock chairs under cabin were the highlight of the trip. Found some games in the coffee table and it was nice to teach my son games that did not involve electronics. Bathhouse was very close by and exceptionally clean and well stocked. Shower was amazing. Puppy had a great time walking the trail with us. Easy drive to Whitewater State Park."
