Antonis welcomed us warmly and showed us to our room, which was beautifully equipped and had an impressive balcony overlooking the Libyan Sea. The food at Calypso is freshly prepared and very tasty, with its emphasis on Cretan cuisine.

The Dog next door barked a lot all hours of the day and night. The deck boards on the 3rd floor balcony were not attached and moved around when you stepped on them, the other balconies and patios were unusable do to them not being touched or cleaned for some time, debris from trees and bushes littered the entire yard. We didn’t even get the villa we booked and after calling and messaging the owner about the leaking tap which was flooding the kitchen floor he basically said not my problem and hung up on us. What ever you do if your planning to stay in the village stay somewhere else. "
