The cottage is located on the same property as the owner’s residence . A perfect place to escape the grind and get back to nature. Property is close to Tangihua Forest where you can go hiking and hunting. Handy location to Whangarei City (22 min), and great for day trips to nearby beaches such as Whangarei Heads, Ruakaka and Dargaville. Get in some fishing at Marsden Point as well where you can also check out the refinery. Come home afterwards to relax on the deck, and enjoy the sunset and stargazing. NZ’s iconic Hundertwasser Art Centre and Māori Art Gallery, suited at the Whangarei Town Basin is well worth the visit. The view outside of the bedroom windows is of green rolling paddocks with trees, stock, cows, horses, birdlife, just so relaxing. The bed is of excellent quality.
