But.... the mattress was the hardest mattress I have ever tried to sleep on and was higher at the foot of the bed than at the head of the bed with a dip in the middle of the bed. My back and both hips hurt after trying to sleep on it. The top of the mattress including the base was at least 30 inches or more from the floor. I am 5 feet 4 inches tall; it was a struggle for me to even get up on the bed....
