Great hotel but not very central.

Posted 08-Nov-2015
Nothing to complain about other than the location of the hotel. It is a good 20 minute walk to the city centre, however, both the facilities and staff were excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't mind spending 50p on a bus ticket to get to and from the city centre.

Excellent valve hotel in a nice area

Posted 02-Nov-2015
Pros: The lounge area with bar, the rooms still felt new.
Cons: Bathrooms need some attention, loose or cracking tiles/grout
Location: Within walking distance of the centre, but having restaurants on the riverside by the hotel
It my Birthday and had a party of 7 and had three rooms for two nights, I thought the facilities were perfect for what we wanted and was approx half the price of everywhere else I had looked at. Breakfast was a good selection and thought the rooms were terrific. All my party felt the same and thought I'd done a good job finding it.

Weekend Rugby Break

Posted 01-Oct-2015
Pros: The lounge where you could get something to eat at night. Also you could watch the rugby on the lounge TV screens with lots of other people.
Cons: The facilities in your room if want something other that tea of coffee. like soft drinks.
Location: This hotel is within a 10 to 15 minutes walk from Leeds city centre along the canal.
This a very nice, clean & tidy hotel. It is easily access able from the city centre by taxi or on foot. the location is very handy if you want a long weekend break. The food was very good & the rooms very comfy. I would recommended this hotel is someone wanted a short break in Leeds.

Nice hotel next to the Armouries

Posted 29-Sep-2015
Pros: closeness to the armouries and city centre
Location: located 10 minutes outside of Leeds centre, on the canal and next to the Armouries, nice pubs close by and a good location
A good hotel next to the Armouries, and only about a 10-15 minute walk into Leeds city centre.

Pros: Clean and well serviced
Cons: sound proofing
Location: City centre excellent shopping and the very fantastic Armourt museum.. The water taxi was a very pleasant bonus and a nice alternative to walking
The hotel was in the best place possible for us as the wholepoint of the three day trip was to visit the Leeds Armouray.. Great for us as the hotel was ab out one minute away from the museum.. Breakfast was of a reasonable standard and we were able to eat all that we required to setus up for the day. Staff very helpful and knowledgable about the area witht he hotel not that far fromthe city centre. There was a free water taxi available so all good... My only complaint would be related to the noise that we could hear from other guests in particular the clowns that returned from a night out at 4:00 a.m. and while not particualrly noisy their talking a pre coitus activity was most annoying. Not the hotels faultpersay but our room had a set of adjoining doors with absolutely no soundproffing.I would suggest therefore if you are given this room then request a change. Other than that absolutely fine..

Handy for the city centre

Posted 01-Sep-2015
Pros: Staff very pleasant and helpful, rooms clean and well stocked. Relatively quiet and good location.
Location: Very handy location at Leeds dock for the city centre, easy city access. Close to Royal Armouries and riverside walks.
Registering was made easy by the reception staff. The rooms were more than adequate for the need and any requirements needed were efficiently sorted by the staff.

If your main visit to Leeds is to visit the Armories, this is the hotel to stay at. It is right across the courtyard from the museum. The staff were polite and quick. And the rooms were clean and comfortable. Can't complain.

Far too expensive for what it is

Posted 20-Jul-2015
Pros: location
Cons: everything
Twice when I booked through Expedia, standard double room, I received room for disabled people. The hotel rates are far too expensive for what it is. Breakfast choice is very poor, the beds and pillows are uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel Nähe City

Posted 12-Jul-2015
Pros: citynähe
Hotel ist sehr Central gelegen und bietet für seine Verhältnisse ein gutes Preis Leistungsverhätnis. Durch das neu- und umgebaute Hafenviertel fühlt man sich sehr wohl.
