A great place to stay

Posted 14-Apr-2017
Pros: Everything
Cons: For me, nothing.
Location: Just a short scenic walk from the city centre.
The hotel is well placed for a 10 minute walk into Leeds city centre. The staff in this hotel were very helpful and polite. The hotel itself was nice and clean and our room was very comfortable. We only ate breakfast whilst we were here and it was faultless.

Good location poor service

Posted 30-Mar-2017
Noise from kitchen extractor fan woke me at 4.30am and was given a disabled room because hotel was full. I booked three weeks in advance! and was told because I had not booked direct with the hotel I had been downgraded!!

Too far from city centre

Posted 25-Feb-2017
Didn't like the walk into Leeds city centre. Also it was noisy at night. Next time would stay at hotel closer to the centre of the city. Breakfast was nice though. Staff very helpful. They came to collect us when we got lost trying to find the hotel. Bar prices are very expensive.

Most uncomfortable, noisy, bathless hotel

Posted 13-Feb-2017
On the drive up I was really looking forward to a bath, there's something about baths. We arrived and made our way to our room... our disabled room. Me and my husband are fully able bodied and In the bathroom, no bath. The cleaning staff were loud and the fellow guests were loud. We both had no sleep on the bed, the pillows were awful, my husband is covered in bites from the bed. Will not be coming back in a hurry

Freezing room

Posted 06-Jan-2017 on Hotels
Staff was great but room had no heater and was freezing. They moved me from 2nd floor to the 5th floor due to fact they brought me a portable heater but it didn't work and they didn't have another but the new room also had no heater and I was freezing I slept with my coat on as it was so cold. I would of mentioned it on discharge but I wasn't asked how I ad enjoyed my stay and as I was in s bit of a rush I left it. I ate in the restaurant in the evening and the meal was awful but having had such s bad start actually getting into s room I just ate it and left. I understand it's basic but the food was obviously microwaved and had been over cooked. The naan was rock hard. The chutney was missing but having had to keep going back to reception due to my card not opening the door then the room being freezing I left it. The staff was lovely though which would be the only reason I would return as like I say the rooms are inadequate
