"The room was clean and comfortable. The grounds were well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. Although, when we checked in, we were sent to a room that was yet to be cleaned. We had to come back down and informed them and was then given a room that was ready. My family and I had to take our luggage up to the first uncleaned room then back down and up again to the 2nd room. There was no compensation for this mistake."

"Stayed for two nights with family while visiting to nearby National Park sites in Hyde Park. Just a short distance to these sites, but also close to shopping and restaurants. I have stayed in Poughkeepsie a number of times because of the convenient location. Hotel was doing some outside renovations, but it did not affect our stay."

"We stayed in one of the stone cottages and were given two keys to our room and only one of the two worked. Walls are pretty thin you could hear other people's conversations. The room itself was cozy and clean and has a romantic vibe making it an ideal location for a weekend getaway with your partner."
