including two children. I found the staff to be friendly and the property was clean. Since I had children we went to the pool and found that one of the pool ladders actually came out of the cement deck. The arcade room had one working video game. When we went to take showers this morning, the only temp of the tub water was barely lukewarm. The sink had hot water but not too easy to bathe a 7 & 8 yo in a sink. I would not recommend this hotel for families. Overall...

"This is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. The lobby breakfast area looked like a

restaurant and had a lot of great choices for even my picky kid. The desk person recommended Glass Nicklel Pizzeria because we arrived late and didn't want to go back out, which turned out to be a great choice. We frequently pass through Madison on our way to other places. I definitely will try to stay here next time. "

"We loved our 2-week stay in Madison, WI just a block away from the lake. Our host was instantly responsive with the few questions that we had. This guest house has everything we needed: a well-stocked kitchen, lovely living room with gas fireplace and dining area. We all slept comfortably on firm mattresses with lovely linens. Although our grandbaby wasn't with us, we were pleased to note that everything we would need is available for a toddler, including safety gate to block the stairs."
